Hutson in Pike County (she

Tokio, AR as their address. My father (William Dossey Hutson) was born

family attended Sweet Home United Methodist Church and most are buried
at Sweet Home
Methodist Cemetery. I am trying to find the death notice for Lucy and
wondered if it could be in
Hempstead County? My grandfather moved to Texas after his wife's death.
I also cannot for
certain locate Lucy's grave. I assume it is with the many Hutson's at

obituary would state burial site. Thanks, Robert B. Hutson

My family has been looking for information on the predecessors of my
grandfather, Calvin Frank
WEBBER for some time now with next to no result. He was born in
Washington, Arkansas on 21
March, 1844 according to our family bible. We do not know whether
Washington was the one in
Randolph County or the one in Hempstead County. I will make inquiry of
both. At any rate he
was married to a Woman from Mena, Ar. on 30 March, 1876. By that time
we assume that he
was living in Mena and subsequently fathered nine children (of which my
father was the youngest)
with his wife, Matilda Frances (Fanny) OWENS. She was born on 9
February, 1859 in Mena.
Incidentally both Frank, my gf, and Fanny, my gm, were deaf mutes and
at least Fanny attended a
school for the deaf in Arkansas. Their nine children were born in
various places in Arkansas and
one in Louisiana: none in Hempstead County, as far as we know. Frank
died 16 August, 1900 in
Mena; Fanny died 9 April, 1912 in Mena also. Both are apparently buried
in Owen Chapel
Cemetery, outside Mena. If any one is interested I could provide
detailed information on these
nine descendants and their offspring, most of whom have lived in
California since around 1912,
after Frank and Fanny died. I look forward to your response at your
convenience with gratitude.
Sincerely, Don Webber AKA fathiker@volcano.net
