My grandmother, Lena Leota JOHNSON was b. 1871 in Hope, Hempstead Co, AR. She had a brother, C.C. (would you believe- Christ of Columbus?) b. 1856, also in AR. C.C. and Lena are in or near Hamilton Co., TX in the 1880s. In 1891 they both moved to Velasco, Brazoria Co., TX where Lena married Benjamin Hardy CARLTON. They had a daughter Myrtle Aden Carlton. A 1997 query by George Park speaks of an Aden Johnson. This could be a clue but Mr. Park is no longer at the email address of his post. Can anyone help with my Johnson research?
