John Thomas Stroud
John Thomas Stroud, 37, of Paragould died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born Aug. 11, 1965, in Tucson, Ariz. He was a professional photographer and former housefather at Children's Homes in Paragould. He was also a member of Center Hill Church of Christ and attended school in Tucson; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Brownsville, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Denise Stroud of the home; his parents, Odgen and Mary Stroud of Levelland, Texas; a son, David Stroud of the home; a daughter, Sarah Stroud of the home; a brother, David Stroud of Edgewood, N.M.; a sister, Pamala Shreve of Plano, Texas; four nephews; and three nieces. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Center Hill Church of Christ in Paragould with Gary Cremeens officiating. Burial will be at Linwood Cemetery in Paragould. Pallbearers will be Terry Tripp, Brad Beasley, Brent Renfrow, Jimmy Dowdy and Steve Parker. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Mike Hyde
He was a self-employed painter and a member of the Pine Knot Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Donna Hyde of Paragould; one son, Billy Hyde of Paragould; one daughter, Barbara Mackin of Bardstown, Ky.; his mother and stepfather, Nina and John Edrington; one sister, Leigh Ann Barber of Bardstown; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Hyde; one brother; and his grandparents. Matthew Travis Harvey
Born at Flint, Mich., he was a student at Arkansas State University. Linda Lou Pittman
Born in Paragould, she lived in Bono for 31 years, was a member of the Herman Baptist Church and the Women's Missionary Association at the church. She was a cafeteria worker at Westside School. Survivors include her husband, David Pittman of the home; one son, Norman Pittman of
Jonesboro; two daughters, Sheila Foreman of Westminister, Colo., and Jeanette Smith of

Daniel Wayne Tabor
Born in Paragould, he was a landscaper for Northeast Arkansas Turf Care and was of the Baptist belief. Survivors include his mother, Brenda Kay Weir of Paragould; one brother, John Shannon
Tabor of Paragould; one sister, Glayla Johnson of Benton; his maternal grandmother,

Juanita Lorene Johnson
Born in Walnut Ridge, she was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons, Morgan Johnson and James Johnson, both of Paragould; one
daughter, Jerris Ann Miller of Paragould; two brothers, George Gosha of Jacksonville and
Rudolph Gosha of Sedgwick; one half sister, Sylvia Adams of Lynn; seven grandchildren; 12

Born in Paragould, she had worked as a nurse at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center for more than 20 years and was a member of Clarks Chapel Baptist Church. Born at Paragould, he was a retired brakeman for the Union Pacific Railroad and a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Ella Pritchard of the home; one son, Michael Sims of Mims,

Paul Wayne Hayden

Susan Annett Newman

He was born in Paragould. Roger Bruce Partain

Born in Marmaduke, she spent most of her life in the Jonesboro area. She was the former owner and operator of Malone's Grocery and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, James A. Malone of Jonesboro; one daughter, Carolyn Simino
of Jonesboro; one sister, Sopha Farley of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, James
"Jamie" Lawson, James Brian Malone, Scotty Simino and Amy Cox, all of Jonesboro,

Grace Deck Thorne
Born in Greenfield, Tenn., she was a retired school teacher and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Arkansas State University and did graduate work at the University of Arkansas. She had lived in Marmaduke before moving to Paragould in 1960. Tulsa, Okla.; and four grandchildren, Tim Grooms of Sherwood, Cindy Pritchard of Gautier,

Orbin E. Sharp Born in Lynn, he had lived in Marmaduke for 40 years before moving to Jonesboro a year ago. He was a retired farmer and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
