Thomas Elihu Morrow
Thomas Elihu Morrow, 62 year old farmer and
poultry raiser of route 2, Fayetteville, died this morning at 6:20 o'clock in the
Elizabeth hospital, Prairie Grove. He was born December 8, 1891 in Greene County, Ark.,
the son of Samuel Morrow and Parthenia Breckenridge Morrow. He was a former resident of
Springdale, and moved to Fayetteville nine years ago. He was a member of theChurch of
Christ.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Sylvia Morrow
of the home; three sons, Durward C., Fayetteville, Graydon S., Chico, Calif., and Thurston
O. Morrow of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Randall Reeves, Sweetwater, Tex., Mrs.Floyd
Pitts, Ft. Smith, Mrs. Bob Nunnally, Abilene, Tex., Mrs. Leslie Crabtree, Lake Jackson,
Tex., and Mrs. Max Traphagen, Fayetteville; two
brothers, M.A. and P.B. Morrow, Paragould, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. May Wardand Mrs. Dollie
Bailey, Paragould; and 17 grandchildren. Tenative plans for the funeral will be at two
p.m. Thursday at the Moore's funeral chapel, Fayetteville with burial in the Rogers
cemetery.
Funeral services for Thomas Elihu Morrow,
who died Monday at the Elizabeth Hospital, will be conducted tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. in
Moore's Chapel by John Littlejohn. Burial will be in the Rogers cemtery.

Julia Ann Morgan
Rites Thursday at Presbyterian
Services for Julia Ann Morgan (nee Craven), 96, of 111 South Washington, will be held at 2
p.m. Thursday in the First Presbyterian church with Dr. Albert E. Griggs and Rev. Lewis
Hancock officiating.
Mrs. Morgan was born September 3, 1858, in Paragould, AR., and died in a local hospital on
Monday, May 30.
She was married to Joseph Henry Morgan in July 1876 in Paragould and they came to Oklahoma
and filed on a farm in Roger Mills county in 1899. Mr. Morgan preceded her in death on May
13, 1913.
Mrs. Morgan had lived in Elk City for 40 years and was a member of the Presbyterian
church.
She is survived by 5 daughters, Mrs. Minnie Wilson and Mrs. W.H. Stanka, Elk City, OK;
Mrs. W.W. Turpin, Van Nuys, CA; Mrs. Gertie Clem, Leedey, OK, and Mrs. A.J. Hallman, Enid,
OK. Three sons, Henry Cicero Morgan and Robert Lee, Olivehurst, CA. and Adolphus Jesse
Morgan of Wichita Falls, TX. Two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Spence, Haiti, MO., and Mrs. Edd
Edrington, Paragould, AR. One brother, J.W. Craven of Illinois.
Also surviving are 51 grandchildren, 101 great grandchildren and 50 great great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, John and Will Morgan.

Mrs. Nancy Starnes Called By Death.
Mrs. Nancy Belle Starnes, age 81, died at her home on Marmaduke route one
Friday, May 28, 1954.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the New Home Church with Rev.
Simmons and Rev. Smitherman officiating. Burial at Starnes Cemetery.
Mrs. Starnes is survived by five Daughters, one son, two bothers and a
