Marietta A. Gooch

Marietta A.Gleghorn Gooch was born  May 1, 1860 in Greene County, Arkansas., the daughter of John and Scissley Coleman Gleghorn, she passed away June 22, 1940 in Oklahoma. 

She married David Madison Gooch 20 Feb 1885.  

William Powell Belk Dies at Beech Grove

William Powell Belk, aged 87, died at 4:45 yesterday morning at his home at Beech Grove following an illness due to a stroke of paralysis and other complications. He was a native of South Carolina but had been a resident of Greene Co. since 1882.
Funeral services were conducted at two this afternoon from the Methodist church of Beech Grove and burial was made in Beech Grove cemetery. The Rev W. S. Mooty, Methodist minister, officiating.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Cora Belk, four daughters, Mrs.Dora Hill of Manila, Mrs. Sallie Matthews of Quincy, Ill., Mrs. Charles Hyde of Paragould and Mrs. Lester Cooper of Paragould; one son, Clinton Belk of Beech Grove, one step-son, Ben Askins, of Beech Grove; 22 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
