MRS. SARAH JANE BRYANT DIED SUNDAY MORNING

Mrs. Sarah Jane Bryant, age 79 years, died Sunday morning, May 21st. at 12:45 in the home of her son, T. F. Bryant, 309 East Main Street after illness of several months.

Mrs. Bryant was a native of Dyer County, Tennessee having moved to this state with her family in 1882. Her husband C. P. Bryant, died seventeen years ago. Until three years ago, Mrs. Bryant made her home with her son C. E. Bryant; since that time she has resided with T. F. Bryant of this city.

Deceased is survived by three sons, Will J., C. E. and T. F. Bryant; one daughter, Miss Katie Bryant who resides at Taft, California. Miss Bryant on receipt of the message announcing the death of her mother wires back to her brothers that on account of being convalescent from an attack of the flu she could not make the trip. Her oldest and youngest child died several years ago. Funeral was held Sunday afternoon from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Bryant, 309 East Main Street. Rev. Henry Meridith officiating. Interment took place at New Friendship cemetery.
