Estel L. Jordan

Estel L. Jordan, 83, of Marmaduke died Tuesday, January 26, 1999, in Paragould.  He was born July 19, 1915, in Greene County. He was a farmer and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Murphy Jordan; his parents, Robert Tildon and Martha Jordan; and four brothers, Irvy Jordan, O.M. "Bus" Jordan, Lavon Jordan and Neal Jordan.

Survivors include a son, Bobby Jordan of Marmaduke; a daughter, Patsy Jordan of the home; a brother, Junior Jordan of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Judy Jordan of Marmaduke; three grandsons, Thomas Jordan, Daren Jordan and Brian Jordan; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Irby Runeral Home in Marmaduke with Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will be at Hartsoe Cemetery in Greene County.

Visitation will begin at 4:30 this evening at the funeral home.
