Norene Shirley

Norene Shirley, 88, of Pocahontas, died Dec. 15, 1999, at the Randolph County Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 16, 1911 in Tuckerman, a daughter of James Green and Helen Norene (Hixon) Fivecoat.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Shirley, and is buried in Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Norene was previously married to Willie Lee Cheshier, Jr., of Jackson County, Ark. who died in 1939.
