Inez Morrow Clark

 


Inez Clark passed away July 1, 2012 at SkilCare Nursing Home in Jonesboro. Mrs. Clark was born April 4, 1918 to Jeff and Pearl Goins Morrow in the Stanford/Beech Grove area of Greene County.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Gilbert Clark, one sister, Judy Mock, one grandson, Darrell Clark.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Alma Clark of Jonesboro, Jeff and June Clark of Pocahontas, one daughter and son-in-law, Jimi and Roger Bowman of Conway, six grandchildren and their spouses: two grandsons, Keith Clark and Greg and Cherie Clark, of Jonesboro, four granddaughters, Mary Ann Clark, Whitney and JJ Blankenship, of Paragould, Rebecca and Caleb Henry of Jonesboro and Clark and Joey Hambuchen of Little Rock, and nine great-grandchildren, Heather Clark, Haylee Clark, Hannah Clark, Joey Clark, Chloe Clark, Ethan Henry, Levi Henry, Zoe Blankenship and Burkley Blankenship. She is also survived by three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Golvia Metheny of Albertville, Alabama, June and Lawrence Rizzotto of Mesquite, Texas, Kate and Jim Smith, and nephew, Jim Smith, Jr. of Jonesboro and one brother and sister-in-law, John and Pat Morrow of Burton, Michigan.

There will be a memorial celebration of her life Saturday, July 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould. According to the wishes of the deceased, the body will be cremated. Following the memorial, a private family burial of the ashes at Morrow Cemetery will take place.

The family requests no flowers please. If you wish to make a donation in the memory of Inez Clark, the family recommends The Greene County Historical and Genealogical Society or The Greene County Historical Museum.

Louise Dickson
 


Louise W. Dickson was born November 18th, 1926. She departed this life July 2, 2012, at Fulton County Hospital. Louise was the daughter of Joseph and Dora Webbe. She was born near Light in Greene County. Louise married William Dickson on Feb. 24, 1943, and they had five children.

Ms. Dickson was preceded in death by her husband, William; one son, James; grandson, Raymond; three brothers, James, Buford and Billy Webbe; and her parents, Joseph and Dore Webbe.

Louise is survived by four children: two sons, William Dickson of Cherokee Village and Thomas Dickson of Aurora, Ill., and two daughters, Betty Wardlow of Aurora and Connie Taylor of Highland; one brother, Alvin Webbe of Walnut Ridge; one sister, Sandra York of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Ms. Dickson is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Ms. Dickson was a member of the Light Baptist Church. She was a Christian and was baptized in the Cash River near Light.

Ms. Dickson was retired from Western Electric in Aurora. She was a housewife and a very good mother to her children, who loved her very much and will always miss her.

Ms. Dickson's funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at Annieville. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time with Pastor Jerry Clements officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Ella Mae Batten
 


Ella Mae Batten, age 83, of Conway, went to be with her Heavenly Father Monday, July 2, 2012. She was a resident of Greenbrier Nursing Center. She previously resided in Conway, Paragould and Plainview, Arkansas. Ella was born May 9, 1929 in Marmaduke, Arkansas, to the late William and Iva Richardson. She was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph and Jack Richardson; a sister, Anna Bea White, and a grandson, Travis Vaught.

Survivors include one sister, Audie Lee White of Paragould; daughter, Brenda (Jerry) Hashman of Harker Heights, Texas; sons: Michael Vaught (Becky) of Conway and Donnie Vaught of Plainview, AR; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law: Audrey and Louise Richardson of Paragould and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ella was a retired nurse and had been a Foster Grandparent at Faulkner County Day School. Wherever she lived she was always active in the Free Will Baptist church, and she loved studying the Bible. She was a loving, caring person and always brought joy to those around her with her teasing and practical jokes.

Arrangements are being handled by Roller McNutt Funeral home of Conway. In honor of her request, she will be cremated. No services are planned.

Wanda Isabell Coleman
 



Wanda Isabell Coleman, 77, of Paragould, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at St Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born June 4, 1935 in Reyno, Arkansas the daughter of the late Everett W. Hurst and Arvella Stafford Hurst Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Aaron Edgar Coleman, two infant daughters, granddaughter, Rene Trahan, great grandsons, Dylan McHenry and James Ballard, stepfather, Gene Johnson and a brother, Weldon Everett Hurst. She was a retired business owner and was a member of Commissary Church of Christ.

Survivors include her children and their spouses: Rick and Gleeda Coleman of Abbeville, Louisiana; Kelly and Terry Hall, Aaron and Cynthia Coleman, Carey and Danny Rice, and Kathy and Rodney Clayton, all of Paragould; siblings and their spouses: Matt and Mildred Hurst of Caraway, Shirley Wohlschlegel of Ballwin, MO, Thomas and Carmen Hurst of Heber Springs; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6:00 until 8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated Friday, July 6th, 10:00 a.m. at Heath Colonial Chapel, with Darrell Austin and Phil Wilkerson officiating.
Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Blake Clayton, Nick Fox, A.J. Coleman, Philip Coleman, Ricky Coleman, and Jerry Coleman. Honorary Pallbearers are Matt and Thomas Hurst, Danny Rice, Rodney Clayton, Terry Hall, Joe Rowe and all of her nieces and nephews. Betty Margaret Sutfin



Betty Margaret Sutfin, 87 of Paragould, AR was born June 11, 1925 in Rising Sun, Nebraska. She departed this life July 3, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Betty was the daughter of Amos and Mabel Mast. She enjoyed flea markets, auctions and loved people.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Pike Sutfin; brother, James Mast; two sisters, Virginia Collins and June Willard.

Survivors include three step sons, James Sutfin of Las Vegas, NV, Roger and Gary Sutfin both of Buchanan, MI; three step daughters, Wilma McGill of Niles, MI, Rita Arnold and Geneva Jeschke both of Buchanan, MI; one sister, Faye E. Carlson of Pennsylvania; many, many nieces and nephews throughout many states.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 7th, 12:00 at Phillips Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Todd Wilburn officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

Orville Lee Pate, Jr.
 


Orville Lee Pate Jr., 77 of Paragould was born January 1, 1935. He departed this life July 5, 2012 at the Rector Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Lee was the son of Orville and Susie Pate. He was born at Mountain Valley, AR. Music was a passion of his. In the 1970’s, he played with numerous country stars, was part of the T.V show, “California Country Live” in the 1980’s, and was inducted into the Western Swing Hall of Fame in 1984. More recently, he played at Reynolds’s Park with Hoss Wallace.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Nelson Pate; three sisters, Gevena and Dorothy Pate, and Delores Dickey.

Survivors include his spouse, Delores Faye Pate; one daughter Reva Renee Nelson; one step daughter, Marsha “Beaton” (Kenneth) Hepworth; grandchildren, Jason Foreman, Chris and Rachel Nelson; step grand daughter, Karen Hepworth Golden; step great grandchildren, D.J. Golden, Zach and Kenny Hepworth.

Visitation will be Monday evening, July 9th, 6:00 until 8:00 at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 10th, 10:00 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home, with Kevin Edgar officiating.
Burial will follow at Green County Memorial Gardens. Members of the First Church of God will serve as pallbearers.

Zelma Marie Hyde



Zelma Marie Hyde, 76, of Cardwell, died Tuesday, July 5, 2012, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.

She was born February 27, 1936, in Monette, Arkansas and was a former cotton co-op employee. Mrs. Hyde was a member of Happy Corner Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis (Pam) Hyde of Daytona Beach, Florida, Mark (Shelly) Hyde of Paragould; and two daughters, Jerri Davidson and Tina (Jake) Davidson of Cardwell. She is also survived by a brother, Bill Stephenson of Kansas City, Missouri; four sisters, Betty Ellington of Lafe, Neva Stanfill, Barbara Garr and Dora Phelps, all of Paragould; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hyde was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gerald Hyde; and a brother, Don Stephenson.

Visitation will be Friday evening, 6:00 until 9:00 at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould.

Graveside services will be Saturday, July 7th, 2:00 p.m. at Cardwell Cemetery with Arthur Phelps officiating. The procession will leave Mitchell Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m.

Dennis Hyde, Mark Hyde, Jake Davidson, Josh Davidson, Mark Davidson and Jason Godfrey will serve as pallbearers.

Wilma Elizabeth Caruthers




Wilma Elizabeth Caruthers, 86, of Paragould, died Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.

Born January 31, 1926, in Searcy, Arkansas, she retired from St. Vincent Hospital as a nurse’s aide.

She is survived by four sons, Paul Caruthers of Lomita, California, Don Caruthers of Paragould, Joe Caruthers of Choctaw, Oklahoma, and David Caruthers of Little Rock; two daughters, Mary Harris of Fair Oaks, California, and Margaret Crawley of Cabot; fifteen grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loal Caruthers; and one grandson, Joshua Caruthers.

Visitation will be Sunday evening, 6:00 until 8:00 at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 9th, 10:30 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Larry McFadden officiating. Private interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Alexander, Arkansas.

Memorials to Children’s Home Youth Camp or Paragould Children’s home would be appreciated.

Lucy Beatrice Cobb

 


Lucy Beatrice Cobb, 80, Paragould, died Friday, July 6, 2012 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born November 26, 1931 in Leachville, AR. the daughter of the late Ocie and Alta Jones Taylor. Lucy was also preceded in death by her twin brother, Luther "Bud" Taylor, brothers, Rayburn and Marlin Taylor and great grandson, Baby George Ramos. Lucy has worked at St. Bernard's and Frolic Footwear and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters: Peggy Shearer of Paragould, Jackie Jones of Jonesboro, Karen Keener of Greers Ferry; sons: Bobby Cobb of Oxford, MS, Darrell Cobb of McCall, ID; sister: Lena Goodwin; brothers: James Taylor, both of Ash Flat; Charles Taylor of Paragould, Joe Taylor of Saddle; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening, 6:00 until 8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated Sunday, July 8th, 2:00 p.m. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Jay Hicks, Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow at Pine Knot Cemetery.

Laveda Kathleen Smith
 



Laveda Kathleen "Kathy” Smith, 57, of Paragould, died Friday, July 6, 2012, at her home in Paragould. Kathy was born June 30, 1955 in Paragould. Kathy previously worked at her parents restaurant, Osie's, was the head trainer at Cracker Barrel, and for the last fifteen years was a caregiver to her parents and a homemaker. She was a member of Rosewood Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Gerald Wilson and her grandparents.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Smith, of the home; mother, Osie Marie Wilson of Paragould; children and their spouses: Christina and Shane Fleming of Sheridan, Christopher and Liz Smith of Little Rock, Jeremy and Brandi Smith of Sheridan; grandchildren: Austin Fleming, Carly Fleming, Haley Smith, Amberly Fleming, Macy Smith, Walker Smith and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, 6:00 until 8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated Tuesday, July 10th, 10:00 a.m. at Heath Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow at New Liberty Cemetery.

Lisa Marie Steele
 


Lisa Marie Steele 18, of Paragould, AR. died on Friday, July 6, 2012 at a residence in Paragould. She was born September 12, 1993 in Jonesboro, AR. to Mark and Emily Myles. Lisa was a member of the Sonlight Baptist Church and she loved music and her pets.

Survivors include, her mother, Emily Steele Davis of Paragould, her father, Mark Myles of Paragould, her grandfather, Gary Steele; one uncle Daniel Steele and wife Leigh Anne of Paragould, one aunt Hannah Hoyer and husband Bradley of Paragould, five cousins, Laura, Jenna, Colton, Ethan and Brynne Steele and a host of other family and friends.

Miss Steele was preceded in death by her grandmother, Donna Ricker and great grandmother, Christine McDaniel.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 12th, 10:30 a.m. at the Sonlight Baptist Church, in Paragould, with the Rev. Charles Abernathy officiating. Interment will follow at Brown’s Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

Roger Dale Vick
 


Roger Dale Vick, 65, departed this life Saturday, July 7, 2012. He was born March 15, 1947 to Clyde and Ellen Vick in Greene County.

He leaves behind his wife; Glenda Ruth (Reeves) Vick of the home. One daughter; Sandy (Vick) McCormick, Two sons; Jeff (Amy) Vick and Kevin Vick, Two grandchildren; Kenna and Kord McCormick all of Paragould. Sisters; Diana (James) Barnhill, Janet (Larry) Goebel, Janis (Charles) Partlow, Doris Hendrix, Mable (Wayne) Crossno, and Susie (Vick) Adams. Two brothers; Emmett (Teresa) Vick and Charlie Vick along with many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; Louis and Susan Treadaway and Ruth and Oscar Vick.

Roger was a Vietnam Veteran serving from 1967 to 1969. He was a water well driller and truck driver.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Eveland, Rodney Eaker, Gary Eaker, Mason Shipman, Terry Agee and Jerry Agee. Honorary Pallbearers are Harvey Lyles and Chuck Holland

Pearl V. Davis

 

Pearl V. Davis, 85, of Paragould, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. She was born June 10, 1927, in Greene County, the daughter of the late Hervie and Lillie Huffman Ellington. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Langdon A. Davis, great granddaughter, Anna Wooldridge, and siblings, Merl York, Imogene Flanery, Curt Ellington, Frank Ellington, Ford Ellington, Agnes Ellington and Lindell Ellington.
Pearl was retired from Emerson Electric Company, was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church and attended Immanuel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Pat and Paul Wooldridge of West Memphis, AR, Kathy and Reggie Walters, of Paragould, Barbara and Ed Isbell of Olive Branch, MS; grandchildren: Chris Wooldridge, Rebecca Lanning, Kayla Cole, Leslie Potter and Angie Eck; great grandchildren: Emily Wooldridge, Landon Wooldridge, Kaydra Cole, Kayleigh Cole, Declan Lanning, Daniel Lanning, Brittney Lanning, and Edie Eck.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 6:00 until 8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated Wednesday, July 11th, 1:00 p.m. at Heath Colonial Chapel, with Brother Mike Welch officiating.

Jerry Dale Chaney
 



Jerry Dale Chaney, 57, of Paragould, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at his residence.

He was born November 9, 1954, in Paragould, and retired from Emerson Electric. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Chaney of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and C.W. Exum and Belinda and Jeff Johnson, all of Paragould. He is also survived by one brother, Dan Chaney of Prospect, Tennessee; one sister, Raetta Jaques of Paragould; three grandchildren, Emma and Chaney Exum and Maggie Johnson; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Mr. Chaney was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mary Chaney.

Visitation will be Friday evening, 6:00 until 9:00 at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould.

Graveside services will be Saturday, July 14th, 10:00 a.m. at Morrow Cemetery with Terry Songer officiating. The procession will leave Mitchell Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m.

Ronald “Boo” Warner, Bill Winn, Kyle Jaques, Michael Paul Greene, J.C. Pillow and John Pillow will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Lyles, Mike Greene, Terry Ellis, Paul Wayne Jaques, and Jack Pillow.

Jasper W. Cothren

 


Jasper W. Cothren, 75, of Searcy, died July 10, 2012 at Advance Care in Searcy. He was born January 11, 1937 in Paragould the son of the late Eugene and Vaudean Hester Cothren.
He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Briuick and Marcia Crisco.
Mr. Cothren was an electrician with Matthews Corporation and was of Baptist belief.

He is survived by his wife, Rheba Cothern, of the home; son, Leslie G. Cothren of Searcy; daughters: Cheryl Bridges of Quitman, AR, Eugenia Lynn Cothren of Joplin, Missouri; sisters, Joan Pike of Conway, Sharon Veckerd of Texarkana, AR; grandchildren: Whitney Bridges, Hunter Bridges and Madison Bridges; and great grandchild Wyatt Ware Jackson.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 13th, 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Heath Colonial Chapel. Reverend James Huggins will officiate. Interment will follow at Finch Cemetery.

Barbara Sue Bland
 



Barbara Sue Bland, 72, Paragould, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at St Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born March 9, 1940 in Paragould the daughter of the late O.L. "Sonny" and Helen Roe Dunnegan.

Barbara, along with her husband Charles, was owner and operator of Bland's BBQ and The Dairy Best.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles Bland, of the home; sons, Steve and Greg Bland, sister and brother-in-law: Sandra and Jerry Burton; grandson and granddaughter-in-law: Chris and Ariel Bland; granddaughters: Cortney and Brittany Bland, all of Paragould.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 14th, 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home with a memorial service, celebrating her life, following at 1:00 p.m. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Nelson Mears officiating.

Fleecie Marie Arnold, 88, of West Memphis, Arkansas died Tuesday at Broadway Healthcare in West Memphis.

Mrs. Arnold was a member of West Memphis First Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lewis Arnold and a son Wayne (Linda) Arnold of Warner Robins, GA.

Mrs. Arnold is survived by three daughters; Mary Etta (Bill) Wells of Memphis, TN, Vonda (Dicky) Parker of Marion, AR, and Bernetta (Mike) Bell of Arlington, TN, two sons; Charles (Jeanie) Arnold of Grand Prairie, TX and Gary (Debbie) Arnold of Casscoe, AR, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday evening, July 12th, 6:00 until 8:00 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, July 13th, 1:00 p.m. at West Memphis First Baptist Church. Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Walcott, AR.

Martha Mabel Owens

 


Martha Mabel Owens, 86, of Trumann, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at her home in Trumann. She was born August 1, 1925 in Alicia, Arkansas the daughter of the late John and Willie Hunt.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Owens, daughter, Bonnie Owens, grandchild, Michael Willbanks, two sisters and two brothers. She was a homemaker and a member of Word of Life Church of God.

She is survived by her daughter: Glenda Willbanks, son, James Owens, eight grand children, 13 great-grand children and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6:00 until 8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated Friday, July 13th, 2:30 p.m. at Heath Colonial Chapel, with Brother Larry Tribble officiating.

Veda Edison McDonald
 


Veda Edison McDonald, 90, of Paragould formerly of Campbell, Mo. passed away July 10, 2012 at Greene Acres Nursing Home. She was born in Senath, Mo., December 29, 1921 to McKinley Jackson and Irene Thompson Smith. She was retired from United States Department of Agriculture and was a member of the Campbell Church of Christ. She married Woodrow Wilson McDonald on Oct. 26, 1940, in Cardwell, Mo. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1991.

Survivors include one granddaughter, Marcia Rogers and husband, Casey of Paragould, AR; two great-grandsons: Tyler Wayne Rogers of Paragould, AR, Britt William Rogers of Paragould, AR; brother: Bobby Smith of Leachville, AR; several nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Terry Wayne McDonald; two brothers, M.C. Smith and Troy Smith and one sister, Edith Smith.

Funeral services will be at noon Friday, July 13th, at Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell, Mo. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until noon prior to the funeral service.

Thelma Aline Welch



Thelma Aline Welch, 105, of Murray, KY died Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Born October 17, 1906 in Wellington, TX, Thelma was the oldest of 12 children. Her parents were John and Janie Gray. She was a school teacher in Texas and Arkansas, having received her college degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR.
She married Elmer Welch of Beech Grove, AR in 1929. They had 3 children.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Welch, and one son, John Welch.

She is survived by two sons, David Welch of Elgin, IL, and Paul Welch and wife Beverly of Murray, KY., ten grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild, two sisters; Mildred Anderson of Chico, TX and Izella Boyd of Bowie, TX.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14th, at 12:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home, with Phil Wilkerson officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until the service of time.
Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery at Stanford, AR.

Lola Mae Gray

 


Lola Mae (Harrelson) Gray, 74, of Delaplaine, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at NEA Baptist Hospital.

She was born December 16, 1937, in Paragould, graduated from Paragould High School in 1955, and married Thomas Gray, February 4, 1961. Mrs. Gray was a former switchboard operator, and bookkeeper for family farm operation. She was a member of Delaplaine Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas L. Gray of the home; one son, Terry L. Gray and his wife, Angela, of Paragould; one stepson, Kevin Gray and his wife, Patty, of Doniphan, Missouri; two grandchildren, Houston Gray and Harper Gray; one brother, Wayne Nesbitt and his wife, Hazel, of Paragould; one sister-in-law, Jean Bryant of Paragould; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Mack Harrelson; her mother, Jewell J. (Harrelson) Nesbitt; and one brother, Lory Harrelson.

Funeral services will be Sunday, July 15th, 3:00 p.m. at the 7th & Mueller Church of Christ with Robert Davis and Rick Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 7th & Mueller Church of Christ.

Charles Randall “Randy” Croom, 53, of South Bend, Indiana, died July 12, 2012. He was born October 26, 1958 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Ida Pearl Ford, 90, of Paragould, died Saturday, July 14, 2012, at her daughters’ home. Pearlie was born September 8, 1921 in Stanford, Arkansas the daughter of the late Jim and Nora Arnhart Reece. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W.T. "Ted" Ford, son, Teddy Joe Ford, sisters, Geneva Hyde, Edna Tisdale, brothers, Tall Joe Lenderman, Short Joe Lenderman, Lossie Lenderman, Walter Lenderman, and Ed Lenderman.
Pearlie was a homemaker and a member of Pine Knott Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Janie and Charles Brogdon; sons: Russell Mack Ford, Andy and Alice Ford, Jim and Phyllis Ford, all of Paragould; sisters: Jimmie Lou Lyles of Stanford, Gracelee Fry; brother: Vernon Reece of Jonesboro; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, 6:00 until 9:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated Tuesday, July 17th, 10:00 a.m. at the Pine Knott Church of Christ, with Michael Cox officiating.

Richard Allen Myers



Richard (Rick) Allen Myers, 50, of Walnut Ridge, was born October 14, 1961 in Pomona, CA. to W. L. “Bud” and Ruby Myers. He departed this life July 14, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Rick was a Wal-Mart truck driver for 18 years and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. His hobbies included gardening, farming, and drag racing. He was also a pilot and especially loved children.

Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his father, W.L. “Bud” Myers.

Rick is survived by his mother, Ruby Myers of Lorado; his wife, Sarah Myers; son, Michael Yingling; daughters, Jeannie (Fernando) Sanchez, Brea Myers, Danika Myers, Madison Yingling, and Kahlan Yingling; brothers, Bill (Sarah) Ernst of Cotter, AR, Mike Ernst of Flippin, AR, Steve (Nan) Ernst of Reston, VA, and Don (Patti) Ernst of Little Rock, AR; sister, Mary Ann (Carlos) Eason of Lorado, AR.

David Samuel Chalut
 


David Samuel Chalut, 68 of Marmaduke passed away July 14, 2012 at his residence. He was born July 10, 1944 to the late Samuel Joseph and Marguerite (Whaley) Chalut in Goodrich, Michigan.

He was a Master Diesel Mechanic and could also fix anything. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and later as a Boy Scout Leader for 15 years and a member of the Lions Club.

Survivors include, his wife, Linda Rae (Householder) Chalut, four sons, Harry Gregory of Houghton Lake, Michigan, Samuel Chalut of Mansfield, Ohio, Joseph Chalut of Jacksonville, North Carolina and John Chalut of Marmaduke, a daughter: Trisha Cox of Owasso, Michigan and seventeen grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, July 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. at the Irby Funeral Home in Marmaduke, memorial services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mary Abell Young. A native of Paragould, Arkansas and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama died Saturday, July 14, 2012. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was retired from the Mobile County Public School System.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emanuel & Ella Abell; sister, Ella Martin; brothers, Bert Abell, John Abell, Pike Abell, Jay Abell and Nace Abell.

She is survived by her children, Richard Abell (Cindy) Young, Lane (Tommy) Fulton, Jennifer Young, Ray (Angel) Young, Leigh (Steve) McCarthy; two brothers, Wayne Abell, Frank Abell; fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 18th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning, 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Interment will be in Catholic Cemetery.

Wandalene Futrell Mitchell, 95, of Paragould, died Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Belle Meade Health Center.

She was born June 18, 1917, in Paragould, to Jeptha and Vestal Futrell. Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker, a former employee of Arkansas Highway Department, and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Mitchell Grilleta and her husband, Steve of Jonesboro, Sterlene Shelton of Vidor, Texas; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Sterling Fitzgerald, and James M. Mitchell; daughter, Gail Hibbeler Fitzgerald; and two brothers, J.M. Futrell and Jeptha Futrell, Jr.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 20th, 3:30 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Paragould.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday, from 1:30 p.m. until time of service.

Cynthia Sue Parrish, 68 of Rector passed away July 15, 2012 at the Rector Nursing and Rehab. She was born December 30, 1943 to the late Orlie and Ruby (Chapman) Shaw in Rector.

Buford Rudolph “Uncle B” Adams, 85 of Paragould died Monday, July 16, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Hospital.

Buford was retired from Foremost Dairy after 34 years, a member of the East Side Baptist Church and a World War II veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess E. and Rachel Lee Adams; brothers, Curtis, Major and Buren Adams and a sister, Louise Winn.

Pauletta Lou Lentz Ellington, age 70, of Paragould passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012, at her home.

She was born with her identical twin sister December 11, 1941, to Kirk and Gertrude (Jeffords) Lentz.
Mrs. Ellington was a Land Abstracter for 29 years, and worked in the Loan Department and as a Teller for Unico Bank from March 1998, until she was forced to quit because of health reasons. She was a member of 7th & Mueller Church of Christ, Paragould.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Galen L. Ellington, who died August 10, 2001, her parents; two sisters, Bertis Joy Lentz and Novella Huckabay; and by two brothers, Martin Lentz and Charles Lentz.

She is survived by two daughters, Lesa D. Shaver and Marsha L. Graves and her husband, Stan Graves, of Paragould; three grandchildren, Heather Shaver (Brandon & Katelynn Reed), Kirby Graves and Lyndsay Graves, all of Paragould; her twin sister, Vendetta Carlile and her husband, Jerry, of Paragould.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening, 6:00 until 9:00 at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 19th, 10:30 a.m. at the 7th & Mueller Church of Christ with Larry McFadden and Michael Cox officiating. She will be buried next to her husband in Linwood Cemetery.

Nola Evelyn Bristol, 74, of Walnut Ridge, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012.

Born June 24, 1937 in Walnut Ridge, daughter of Ervin and Alpha Rosselot Holder.
She was a factory worker and of the Assembly of God faith.

She was united in marriage April 17, 1954 to John Franklin Bristol, who preceded her in death May 4, 2006. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Holder and Noel Holder; two sisters, Lorene Blackwell and Mary McCullison.

Survivors include a son, William Charles Bristol of Rockford, Illinois; two daughters, Denise Bennett of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, Tammy Burch of Indianapolis, Indiana; three brothers, Charles Holder and Chestine Holder both of Walnut Ridge, L.T. Holder of Rockford, Illinois; one sister, Bernice Brown of Independence, Missouri; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

She was born July 9, 1919, at Halliday, to John A. and Bertha A. Fahr. She was a retired teacher from the Memphis City School system and a faithful member of Rosewood Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Howard E. Bien.

Tressie Mary Cleveland, 80, of Paragould passed away July 17, 2012. She was born January 11, 1932 at Bard, AR., to Theo and Katie Nipper. She was a member of New Haven Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She was a nurse for 30 years, a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandma that loved to travel.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two sons, Hardy Edward and Tony Ray Cleveland; two brothers, Frank and Marshall Nipper; two sisters, Peggy and Genevieve.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles Cleveland; three sons, Larry (Jo Ann) Cleveland, Joe (Judy) Cleveland all of Paragould and Reese of Jackson, TN., one daughter, Marietta (Cleveland) (Danny) Sisk of Paragould; one brother, Pat Nipper of Troy, MO.; six sisters, Lola Ellington of Greenfield, CA., Alice Whiteaker of Fredericktown, MO., Tommy Fowler of Arnold, MO., Lue Jones of Brokenbow, OK., Sue Yokum of Lima, OH., Francis Flores of Lapier, MI; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Frances Charlene Reinhart, 91, of Roscommon, Michigan, died Monday, July 16, 2012, at her residence. Mrs. Reinhart was born March 6, 1921, in Hooker, and was a retired baker. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include five sons, Ghyraine Reinhart, Jimmy Reinhart, Clyde Reinhart, Jerry Reinhart, and Scott Reinhart; and four daughters, Janette Wuebben, Genny Wolfram, Patricia Baggett, and Karen Reinhart Reed. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; three step grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollie Reinhart; her mother, Lily Mae Stevens; her father, Clyde Everett McGarraugh; an infant son; one daughter, Dewanda Lawrence; one son, Gary Reinhart; and one grandchild.

There will be a private graveside service. No visitation is scheduled.

Barbara Sue Arington, 68, of Paragould, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Arington was born January 15, 1944, in Paragould, and was a former employee of Wal-Mart. She was a member of Full Gospel Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Wilma Inez Langston; her husband, Thomas Lee Arington; one brother, Jerry Langston; and two sisters.

Jasmine Sierra Miller, 9 of Paragould died Wednesday at LeBonheur Hospital in Memphis. She was a student and a member of Victory Temple at Stonewall, AR.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Shayla Jo Miller and paternal grandfather, Royal Miller.

Survivors include her parents, Ronnie and Gayla Miller of the home; maternal grandparents, Artis and Wilma Roush of Paragould; paternal grandmother Helen Miller of Paragould, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Russell Nathaniel Stewart, 91 of El Jebel, Colorado passed away July 18, 2012 at the Colorado State Veterans Nursing Home. He was born April 12, 1921 to the late Shirdy and Paralee (Hart) Stewart in the Morning Star Community.

He served in the Army during WWII and was a preacher and worked as a machinist for Combustion Engineering.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Junaita Stewart, a brother: James Stewart and a sister: Faye Mathis.

He is survived by his daughter and her husband: Diana Brink- Bartow and Kevin Bartow of El Jebel, Colorado, a grandson: Justin Brink of Crowley, Colorado, two great-granddaughters: Aliyah Barnes and Lily Stokes, a sister and son-in-law: Ruth and Harlan Barron of Halliday, Arkansas along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, July 23rd, 1:00 p.m. at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at the Linwood Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Warren McKenzie; parents Oscar and Myrtle Turtle Garrett; brothers Tom and David Garrett; sisters Irene, Omee and Beverly.

David Edward Smith, 59, of Paragould, Arkansas died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at his home. Mr. Smith was born December 19, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri to Clarence Edward and Yuvonne Clemmie Smith.
Mr. Smith was of the Nazarene Faith, an avid antique collector, loved old music and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include: his mother: Yuvonne Clemmie Smith of the home and a host of cousins that he loved dearly.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father.

Opal Frances Landrus Nutt, 89 of Santa Rosa, CA, formerly of Paragould, died July 21, 2012, in Santa Rosa.
Mrs. Nutt was born July 26, 1922. She  was a retired teacher and principal at Oak Grove School for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyce Nutt; parents, William and Pearl Evan Landrus.

Dorothy Loretta "Woodson" Taylor, 83, of Stanford, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Walnut Ridge. She was born on December 12, 1928 in Greene County.
She was retired from Ely Walker Shirt Factory. She was a member of Stanford Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cloys Woodson and Raymond Taylor, her parents, Ray Cox and Bernice Griggry, and her brother, L.R. "Dusty" Cox.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-laws: Barbara and Carol Rice and Beverly and Greg Vines, all of Stanford; brothers: Ira Cox of Walnut Ridge and Bob Cox of Cherokee Village; grandchildren and their spouses and great grandchildren: Stacey and Seasons Rice, Blaine and Blayre; Heath and Chrissy Vines, Kayli, Alex, and Emily; Jaime and Stacy Edrington, Dylan, Abbey, and Jacey; Steven and Jodie Vines, Bridger, Caleb Ryleigh, and Conner.

Estella Mae Noles, 87, of Florissant, Missouri, died Saturday, July 22, 2012, at Mount Carmel Living Center, St. Charles, Missouri.

Born June 12, 1925, in Seymour, Iowa, she retired as hostess for the Jade Room at Famous Barr Department Store, St. Louis.

She is survived by a stepson, Scott Noles of Paragould; nieces, Nell Lyon of Little Rock, Barbara Raithel of Cornelius, North Carolina, Rita Orick, Paula Newberry, Sandra Rogers, Shirley Wilson, and Debbie Newberry, all of Paragould; and nephews, Rod Faulkner and Star Faulkner, both of Paragould.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Noles; and four half-brothers, Ernest Carl Bryan, William Thomas Bryan, Victor E. Bryan, and Jessie Guy Bryan.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 26th, 10:00 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Paragould, with Angie Gage officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

He was born September 9, 1944 in Detroit, MI, the son of Mildred Franks and James Henry Milburn. He is an Army Vietnam War Veteran, of Pentecostal Belief and a mechanic. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals.

Survivors include his son, Larry James Milburn, II., daughters, Wathena Milburn Howell, both of Paragould, Sheena Milburn of Monette, Crystal Milburn Alpteken of Colorado Springs, CO., ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was born January 8, 1945, in Paragould, and was the owner of Ray’s Body Shop since 1984. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Virginia Ray; one son, David Ray, and one brother, James Ray.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Ray of Paragould; one daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Gerald Hale of Marmaduke; two grandchildren, Chelsea and Scott Kreutzer, and Nicolas and Whitley Rippy, all of Marmaduke; and three great grandchildren, Braxton Rippy, Brooklen Rippy, and Kennedie Rippy.

Mrs. Annice Scott, 83, of Lorado, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.

She was born on January 25, 1929 at Jonesboro to the late E. E. and Clara Songer.

Mrs. Scott retired after 36 years with the postal service, serving as postmaster in Bono for the last three years. She also helped on the family farm at Fontaine and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

She is survived by five daughters and their husbands, Theresa and Wayne Long of Jonesboro, Paula and Jim Hawkins of Jonesboro, Vicki and Gale Yates of Caraway, Linda and Jerry Long of Greers Ferry and Debra and Jim Marshall of Paragould; a son and his wife, Wesley and Lisa Scott of Lorado; two sisters, Eunice Wimpy of Jonesboro and Laveda Scott of Walnut Ridge; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyde Scott and a brother, Victor Songer.

A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, July 25th, 10:00 a.m. at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Lorado Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening, July 24th, 6:00 until 8:00 at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home, 300 W. Matthews Ave.

Andrew “Andy” Wayne Myers, 29, of Paragould passed away July 24, 2012. He was born August 15, 1982 in Paragould to John Darrell Myers and Patti (Gray) Hawkins.
He was a machinist at Dixieland Gin Repair and took great pride in his work. He was a student at Black River Technical College in Paragould. He volunteered anytime he could to help people with anything they needed. He coached U6 Soccer, T-Ball and Coach Pitch Baseball. He was wonderful with children. He loved to spend time with his family and loved his wife and kids more than his next breath. He was loved by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Samantha; six children, MaKenna Danielle, Tayler Evan, Caleb John, Kennady Kayson, Lastyn Alden and Kobe Wayne Hunter; his parents, Patti and Brent Hawkins of Paragould; mother-in-law, Kay Pfeifer of Paragould; fathers-in-law David Wiliiams of MO and Gary Messer of Paragould; two brothers, Joseph Myers of Oklahoma and David Myers of Paragould; one sister, Brittney Woods of Leachville; two brothers-in-law, Shane (Sarah) Messer and Justin Bryant all of Paragould; three sisters-in-law, Kourtney (A. J.) Johnson of Paragould, Brittney and Taylor Williams of MO.: many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.

Preceding him in death were his father, John Darrell Myers; paternal grandparents, Andrew and Dorothy Myers; maternal grandmother, Mary Gray, maternal grandparents, Wayne and Paulette Gray and uncle, Robert Gray.

She retired from the The Garment Factory in Rector, loved going to the roundup, fishing and spending time with her friends and was a member of East Side Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law: Carol and Tommy Blankenship, Linda Stafford, Diane and Jim Owen, all of Paragould, Patricia and Avon Kepner of Richmond, VA; grandchildren: Misty and Shannon May, TJ and Laura Holcomb, Courtney and Chad Cochran, Anthony and Sandy Blankenship, Lisa and Steve Mims, Christina Swinney, Jack Stafford, Wendy and Kevin Perry, Jamie and Keith Eddings, Melissa and Jay Larouche; 19 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Glynda Geraldine McDowell, 84 of Marmaduke passed from this life Friday July 27, 2012 at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould. She was born September 16, 1927 to the late Homer and Iva (Smith) Rutledge in Greene County. She was married to Gerald McDowell on May 9, 1945 in Greene County, and was of the Methodist belief.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband Gerald McDowell; parents Homer and Iva Rutledge; one son: Phil McDowell; two brothers: Bernard Rutledge and Gary Rutledge.

She is survived by two sons: Tony McDowell and Ricky McDowell; two brothers: Gail Rutledge, Barry Rutledge; one sister: Mikie Lou Coates; four grandchildren: Tonya Drope, Nicki McDowell, Shannon McDowell, and Shawn McDowell; eight great-grandchildren: Tyler McDowell, Zackary McDowell, Lucy McDowell, Jack McDowell, Abigale McDowell, Chelsea Drope, Colby Drope, Jayden Drope, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Larry Gene Rabon, 54, of St. Peter's, MO, passed away July 28, 2012 in St. Peter's. Larry was born December 10, 1957 in Granite City, IL. He married his wife, Carla (Wheeler) Rabon, on August 31, 1979.
Larry worked at Armstrong Relocation for 22 years.

He is survived by his wife, Carla, his children: Jeffrey, Tabitha, and Penny, and five grandchildren. Lori Ann Thompson, 48, of Paragould, died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. She was born November 8, 1963 in Coldwater, MI, the daughter of the late David Edward and Deloris Ann Veasey Smoker. She was an LPN and owner and operator of Mrs. Lori's Daycare. Lori was the past president of the Paragould Youth Softball Association, loved cooking, canning, sewing, crocheting, gardening, spending time at the lake and with children, and was a member of Pruett's Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Kevin Thompson, of the home; children and their spouses: Mallory and Caleb Williams, Marshall Thompson, Mackenzie and Luke Foster, Maggie Thompson; grandson: Benjamin WIlliams; brothers and sisters-in-law: Michael and Kathy Smoker, Steve and Lana Smoker, Barry and Darlene Smoker; mother-in-law: Martha Chiles; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Lissa and Don Tabor, all of Paragould; neices: Sara Copeland, Shelly Lee, Brooke, Baylie and Ella Tabor.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 6:00 until 8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated Thursday, August 2nd, at 1:00 p.m. in the Heath Colonial Chapel, with Reverend Mike Blanchard and Father Mike Sinkler officiating. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Jerry Don Walker

 


Jerry Don Walker, 68, of Paragould, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 29, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his father: Hubert Walker, his sister: Debra Bateman, his grandparents, Jack and Adaline Walker and B. B. and Ethel Burnett, a great nephew: Garrick Bateman, and a cousin: Steven Burnette.

Survivors include his mother, Eugenia Walker, three nephews and their wives, "Eric and Erin Bateman, Derek and Emily Bateman, and Zarek and Rebekah Bateman, great-nieces and nephews, Abbey, Bo and Zeke Bateman and Emily Sage. His Uncle Charles Burnette and his family.

Jerry was born on March 23, 1944. He lived all of his life in Paragould. He retired from Emerson Electric after many years of operating a tow motor. He enjoyed playing the guitar and fishing.

Visitation will be Friday, August 3rd, 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Bill Finney officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Dorothy G. Roberts
 



Mrs. Dorothy G. Roberts, 98, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Mrs. Roberts was born in Earle, AR., February 16, 1914. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Corning.

She married her husband Benjamin Franklin Roberts on April 28, 1934 in Corning. He preceded her in death on May 28, 1987.

She is survived by one son David Joe Roberts and wife Shirley of Corning, AR.; one daughter Betty Taylor of Corning, AR.; four grandchildren Scott Roberts of Jonesboro, AR., Keith Taylor of Eads, TN., Wade Taylor of Corning, AR., Randi Roberts of Bella Vista, AR.; three great-grandchildren Rachel Roberts of Jonesboro, AR., Karlie Taylor of Eads, TN., and Madison Taylor of Eads, TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Dave and Myrtle (Gipson) Skillern; one brother Andy Skillern; one sister Goldie Prince; one great-grandson Zach Roberts; two half-brothers Ernest Jiles, Bill Jiles; and one half-sister Aulcie Arnold.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 1st, at 2:00 p.m. in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ann Ferris officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, at 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

David A. Ford, 67, Senath, MO, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in Kennett, MO. He was born December 3, 1944 in Austin, TX, the son of the late Austin and Mildred Ford. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Adean Ford, a brother and a sister. He loved fishing, camping, western movies and books and country music.

Survivors include his daughters: Debbie Quilhot of Montgomery, IL, Lula Cox of Arbyrd, MO; Son: Earl Long of Gainesville; grandchildren: Sean and Courtney Quilhot, Misty Hyde, Shelly Cox; and great granddaughter: Allison Hyde.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, 6:00 until 8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Saturday, August 4th, 10:00 a.m. at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
