Henry W. White

Henry W. White, age 77 of Clio, MI., died Wednesday December 9, 1987 at the Flint Osteopathic Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 14, 1987 at the Benjamin & Whipple Funeral Home, Clio. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Rev. David Duncan will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

Mr. White was born in Paragould, AR., May 23, 1910, the son of James and Martha (Penny) White and had resided in Clio since 1946 coming from Flint.

He married Marie Allport in Detroit, MI., July 3, 1933. He was employed by Chevrolet Manufacturing for 41 years, retiring in 1970. He was a member of UAW Local 659.

Survivors include his wife Marie, four sons, James W. and wife Marilyn of Clio, Kenneth R. and wife Helen of Clio, Thomas V. of Mt. Morris and Lenny H. of Clio; two daughters, Karen M. Dailey of Mt. Morris and Martha R. and husband Larry Linseman of Clio, brother William of CA., sisters, Violet Wright of FL., and Vida Troge of Mt. Morris. 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
