Wilma Mae Hill, 75, of Paragould died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, at Greene Acres Nursing Home.
Born in Bethesda, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include her husband, Allen Hill of Paragould; a son, Allen Hill of Paragould;
three daughters, Anna Felty and Judy Peel, both of Paragould, and Karen Exelby of Dexter,
Mo.; a sister, Betty Holcomb of Batesville; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one grandson.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Zion Cemetery, with the
Rev. Michael Benware officiating. Heath Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Bruce Macon Faulkner
Funeral services for Bruce Macon Faulkner, 99, of Paragould, who died Monday, Aug. 1,2005,
at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, at Heath
Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel.
The Rev. Dennis Scudder will officiate, and burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery at
Paragould.
Pallbearers will be Bob Jackson, David Tillman, Ronnie Pigue, Steve Kueter, Alvin Arnold
and Tommy Arnold.
Born in Stanford, Arkansas, he served in the Army in the South Pacific during World War
II, was a former teacher in Stanford and had worked as a barber. He was a member of East
Side Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Bob Faulkner of Paragould; a brother, Hulen Faulkner of Memphis;
a sister, Weldon Tillman of Paragould; a granddaughter, Dr. Lisa Hendrix of Paragould; and
three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Alice Batey Faulkner, two sisters, three
brothers, and one grandson.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Bob E. Wilson, 70, of Jonesboro, who died Monday, August 1, 2005, at
St. Bernards Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Emerson Funeral Home's Memorial
Chapel.
Rev. John Snyder will officiate, and burial will follow in Wood's Chapel Cemetery near
Paragould.
Active pallbearers will include Norman Leonard, Jack McCann, Norris Watkins, Sarge Cook,

Born in Parkin, he had lived most of his life in the Jonesboro and Bono areas. He was a
retired police officer, working several years for the Jonesboro and Bono police
departments. He served in the Arkansas National Guard and was a member of Bono United
Methodist Church
Survivors include a son, Rick Wilson of Jonesboro; a daughter. Johnna Seidel of Walcott;
two brothers, Jerry Wilson of Jonesboro and Gary Wilson of Thomasville, Ga.; and two
grandchildren, Cody Wilson and Connor Wilson, both of Jonesboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Gladys Howerton Wilson.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Shawn Allen Winn
A memorial service for Shawn Allen Winn, 25, of Marmaduke, who died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005,
in an automobile crash near Dixie, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Irby Funeral
Home in Rector.
The body will be cremated.
He was born in Paragould, Arkansas.
Surviving are a daughter, Keyleigh Shae Roberts; his father, Dennis Winn of Marmaduke; his
mother, Lisa Swink Layton of Pocahontas; and a brother, Nicholas Winn of Marmaduke.

Zelma Estelle Manley
Zelma Estelle Manley, age 96, of Brookland, Arkansas, died Tuesday, Aug 2, 2005, at Greene
Acres Nursing Center in Paragould.
Born Oct. 12, 1908 in Paragould, Arkansas, to William Arthur and Mary Alice (Gramling)
Woodson, she spent most of her life around the Paragould area. She was a homemaker and a
member of the Brookland Church of Christ.
Survivors include: three sons : Jerry and Wife Dot Manley of Paragould, W.M. and wife
Frances Manley of Hillsboro, Mo. and Paul Manley of Brookland. Four daughters : Geneva and
husband Elwood Perry of Muskegon, Mich., Gwenda and husband Chick DeHart of Paragould, Pat
and husband Travis Wood of Wentzville, Mo. and Joy Brown of Brookland. Two
daughters-in-law: Sue Manley of Brookland and Jackie Manley of Flint, Mich. Twenty-five
grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Paul Manley, two sons, Norman and Dennis
Manley and one daughter, Geraldine Butler.
Active pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Dorothy Mae Hendrix, 68, of Paragould, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at Arkansas Methodist
Medical Center.
Born February 25, 1926, in Greene County, Arkansas, Mrs. Hendrix was a homemaker and a
member of Big Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Rickie Hendrix and Danny Hendrix, both of Paragould; and one
daughter, Lee Wanda McDonald of Jacksonville, Ark.. She is also survived by two brothers,
Earl Mosley and Bobby Moseley, both of Paragould; three grandchildren; and by one
great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Hendrix; her parents, Waymon and Irene
Mosley; and by one brother, Waymon Mosley, Jr.

Earnest Lee Wilson, 75, of Blytheville, Arkansas died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at Great
River Medical Center in Blytheville.
Born at Leachville, Arkansas, he was a longtime area resident and a member of Trinity
Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ada Eveylene Bracken Wilson of the home; a son, Dennis Wilson
of the home; three stepsons, Michael Merritt and Jimmy Ray Merritt, both of Blytheville,
and Shawn Merritt of Drummond, Tenn.; two brothers, Burl Wilson of Leachville and Johnny
Wilson of Conway; six sisters, Martha Lee Helms of Mounds, Glenda Ford, Jo Ann Rise and
Barbara Moar, all of Batesville, Zelma Finch of Kansas and Lois Taylor of Hardy; and seven
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Lou Jessie Taylor Wilson.

Hazel Irene Jenkins, 91, of Paragould died Thursday, August 4, 2005, in the Paragould
Nursing and Rehab Center. Born in Rector, she was a member of the Griffin Memorial United
Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son, Donald Jenkins of Jonesboro; a daughter, Wanda Wright of Memphis;
four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Jenkins; her parents Jess and Edna Reed
Gibbs; a daughter, three brothers, a sister and a grandson.

Mary Bernice Johnson, 89, of Paragould died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at Paragould Nursing
Center.
Born at Marmaduke, Arkansas, she was a homemaker and a member of Marmaduke First Baptist

Survivors include two sons, Roy C. Johnson Jr. of Bowling Green, Mo., and Donald Max
Johnson of Devine, Texas; a daughter, Rosalee Lott of Paragould; a sister, Maxine Knee of
Pocahontas; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy C. Johnson Sr.; her parents, Henry and Lila
Johnson; a daughter, Lila Mae Johnson; a brother; John Henry Johnson; and two
great-grandchildren.

residence. Born May 9, 1920 in Macon County, Tennessee, she was a homemaker and of the

Irma Lou Russell of Portland, Tennessee, Linda Sue Davis of Cutler, Indiana and Carol

1956.

Texas.

Roberta Cunningham, 80, of Florissant, Missouri, formerly of Paragould, died Tuesday,
August 9, 2005, at Manor Care Nursing Home, Florissant.
Born November 19, 1924, in St. Louis, Missouri, Miss Cunningham was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one sister, Virginia Harris of Paragould; one brother-in-law, Buford
Dodd of Hazelwood, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura E. and W.R. "Buck" Cunningham;
two brothers, Navy Lt. Commander Maxie R. Cunningham, and John Edward Cunningham; and by
one sister, Ernestine Dodd.

Paragould with Glen Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the New Friendship Cemetery.

Harvey Crowell
Harvey Crowell, 76, of Oxford, Arkansas, died Wednesday, August 10, 2005, at Fulton County
Hospital, Salem, Arkansas.
Born November 29, 1928, in Paragould, Arkansas, Mr. Crowell retired from the Air Force and
was a veteran of WWII.
Survivors include one son, Perry Monroe Crowell; one daughter, Jeanna Christine Meinen,
both of Texas and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Rura Crowell.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Paragould
with Bobby Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.

Pearline Harris Hester
Pearline Harris Hester, 88, of St. Louis, Missouri, died Wednesday, August 10, 2005, at
St. Mary's Health Center in St. Louis. She was born March 12, 1917, in Paragould,
Arkansas, and spent most of her early years in that area. She relocated to St. Louis,
spending the last 28 years in the Maplewood area with her husband George Hester and her
great granddaughter Breeanna Woods. She was of Baptist faith.
In addition to her husband she is also survived by two daughters, Helen Johnson Morgan
(Lorl) of Cahokia, Illinois and Mary Ellen Johnson Cox (Bill) of Waterloo, Illinois and
one son, Randall Wayne Harris of St. Louis, Missouri, many grandchildren, great
grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Nettie
Johnson of Colorado and one brother, Floyd Ward of Paragould, Arkansas, and several nieces
and nephews.
Mrs Hester was preceded in death by husbands Cecil Debbs Johnson and Louie Harris of
Paragould, Arkansas; parents John R. and Addie Mae Ward, stepmother Goldie Johnson; five
brothers, Lee, Vester, Raymond, Elmo, and J. R. Ward; nine sisters, Edith Theil, Mildred
Orr, Ruby Ward, Violet Carter, Wilma Brown, Lavina, Frances and Mae Ward; one grandson,
Brian Morgan and one great granddaughter, Kristi Griggs. Her twin sister, Pauline
"Polly" Walters died December 30, 2004. Mrs. Hester is the last survivor of the
children of John R. and Addie Ward.
Visitation will be today, August 12, 2005 from 7 until 9 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home,
Paragould.

Claudy Alice Reed
Claudy Alice Reed, 95, of Paragould, died Thursday, August 11, 2005, at her residence.
Born October 3, 1909, in Greene County, Arkansas, Mrs. Reed worked for twenty-seven years
at Ely-Walker Shirt Factory. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Burton of Walcott, Lou Songer of Paragould; two
sisters, Earnestine McDonald of Little Rock and Maudel Higgins of California. She is also
survived by seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two great great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Polk Reed; her parents, George and Lou
Parson; one daughter, Juanita Conn; five brothers, Henry, Paul, Russell, Lee and Poley
Parson; three sisters, Maud Schug, Charleston Vowell, Clara "Ted" Parson; and by
one grandson, Freddie Conn.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel,
Paragould, with grandson, Terry Songer officiating. Burial will follow at Brown's Chapel
Cemetery.

Raymond Edward Cook
Raymond Edward Cook, 89, of Paragould, died Friday, August 12, 2005, at the Arkansas
Methodist Medical Center.
An Army/Air Corps veteran of World War II, Mr. Cook was born July 24, 1916 in Detroit,
Michigan. He was a retired Quality Control Engineer for N.L. Schaeffer, Beaumont, Texas
and a member of Camp Ground United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ina Cook of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Frank and
Sharon Rondone of Paraoguld; three daughters and sons-in-law; Rindy and Glenn Whittenburg
of Ripon, California, Lucy and Don Bobbitt of Paragould, Mary and Michael Gonzalez of Los
Angeles, California.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Volner and Stephania Maria Cook; one daughter
Harriet Turner; and by one brother Russell.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday evening at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould.

Sarah Berniece Hunt, 86, of Paragould died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at her residence.
Born at Lorado, Arkansas, in 1919, she was a homemaker and a member of Gainesville Church
of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Hunt of Canton, Mich., and John Hunt of Memphis; three
daughters, Jo Ellis of Decatur, Ill., Linda Pillow of Paragould and Paulette Brown of
Sherwood; a sister, Mathel Hart Nehlsen of North Port, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Vicki
Cooper, Bruce Cairns, Jerry Pillow Jr., Joe Pillow, Alan Hunt, Stephanie McKeman, Chris
Brown, Sarah Brown and Amanda Brown; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Hunt; her parents, John Ed and Martha
Berry; three brothers; and three sisters.

James Henry Seay, 90, of Rector died Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, in Rector.
Born at Walcott, Arkansas, he was a retired farmer and a Baptist.

Altheimer and Janie Cruce of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Mona Hargis of Altheimer,

He was preceded in death by his parents, R.C. and Lizzie Seay, two brothers; and three
sisters.

She was born July 15, 1911, in Portia, Arkansas, to Thomas Lee White and Cordia Bell
(Forehand) White. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edmond Cross; one son, Ben Cross; one
great-grandson, Jason; and two brothers.
She was survived by sons, Jack Crabtree, of Jonesboro, Ed Cross, of Paragould, and Jim
Cross, of Beech Grove; daughters, Loree Cross, of Paragould, and Mary Hyman, of Phoenix,
AZ; 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

Osby Charles "Charlie" Nance, 88, of Trumann died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at his

Born June 13, 1917 at Thayer, Mo., he was a retired carpenter and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary H. Nance; his parents, William Webster and
Annie Myrtle Putnam Nance; two brothers; and a sister.

Loretta Jane Nelson Smith
Loretta Jane Nelson Smith, 41, of Blytheville, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2005, in an motor
vehicle accident near Tumbling Shoals.
Born at Paragould, Arkansas, she was reared in the Fontaine Community in Greene County. A
student at Arkansas Northeastern College in Blytheville at the time of her death, she was
working toward becoming a registered nurse. She had formerly been employed at Milwaukee
Tool, as a lab technician at Huntco Steel and as a lab technician for several physicians.
She was also a member of the ESA sorority.
Survivors include her husband, Danny L. Smith of the home; three daughters, Mandy Michelle
Miller and Mindy Dawn Simpson, both of Blytheville, and Casey Joann Overton of the home;

Alberta Moore Black
Alberta Moore Black, 78, of Blytheville died Monday, Aug. 15, 2005 ,at Great River Medical
Center in Blytheville.
Born at Marmaduke, Arkansas, she was a homemaker, had lived in Arkansas for most of her
life and was a Blytheville resident since 1989. She volunteered for Relay for Life and
Haven and was a member of Beacon Baptist Church, where she was a member of Women's
Missionary Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Gribble and Sandy Shelton, both of Blytheville; a
son, Jerry Moore of Blytheville; a brother, Zane Grey Wright of McDougal; a sister, Mable
Daley of Exeter, Calif.; five grandchildren, Tim Gribble, Chasedy Payne, Matthew Stewart,
Austin Moore and Alexis Moore Cox; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Clovis H. Moore and Jimmie L. Black; her
parents, Henry C. and Lillian A. Cathey Wright; four sisters; and two brothers.

Rellie Lacey Marie Farmer, 79, of Paragould died Monday, Aug. 15, 2005, at Paragould
Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born in Rector, Arkansas, she was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include three sons, Dennis Farmer and Ricky Farmer, both of Marmaduke, and Loyd
Farmer of Knobel; four daughters, Dorthy Braden of Marmaduke, Ollie Thomas of Paragould,
Brenda Lamar of Rector and Kay Tillimans of Butte, Mont.; a brother, Jack Bridges of
Washington, D.C.; two sisters; 27 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Farmer; one daughter, Bonnie Mae Farmer;
and her parents, James and Freda Pruett Bridges.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Heath Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel, with
the Rev. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in Hartsoe Cemetery at Marmaduke.

Darin Bryant Russell
Darin Bryant Russell, 16, of Paragould, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2005 in Paragould.
Darin became part of our lives on Monday, March 27, 1989, at Dyess Air Force Base in
Abilene, Texas. He gave his heart to our Lord Jesus Christ on July 27, 1995. He was a
member of Rosewood Baptist Church. Darin attended Greene County Tech School where he was a
trombonist in the band and was on the High School Soccer team. He was a lifeguard at
Crowley's Ridge State Park, and an employee of Sonic Drive Inn.
Suvivors include his parents, Bryant and Tina Russell; paternal grandmother, Jane Russell;
maternal grandfather and step grandmother, Larry and Linda Faulkner; maternal great
grandmother, Grace Faulkner; and two sisters, Mallory Russell and Zoe Russell, all of
Paragould.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Billy Russell and his maternal
grandmother, Fay Faulkner.
Funeral serivce will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Mitchell Fuenral Home Chapel, Paragould,
with Don Hutto officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Vernon Eugene Pruitt, 71, of Paragould died Thursday, August 18, 2005, at his residence.
Born January 25, 1934 in Monette, Mr. Pruitt was a security guard for Wal-Mart and a
member of New Life Family Church at Knobel.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Pruitt of the home; his mother, Ruth Williams of
Paragould; three sons, Rickie Pruitt and Randy Pruitt, both of Paragould, Timmy Pruitt of
Waterville, Maine; three daughters, Ruth Kimbrough, Regina Lemmons and Rhenda Carter all
of Paragould. He is also survived by three stepsons, Raymond Loyd of Corning, Brian Loyd
of Paragould, Timothy Loyd of Waterville, Maine; three stepdaughters, Joyce Brown of
Paragould, Shirley White of Delaplaine, Lisa Barber of Maynard; and by a host of
grandchildren adn great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, A. Orville Pruitt and by one brother, T.J. Pruitt.

Claudia Justus Beaton
Claudia Justus Beaton, 87, of Paragould, died Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at Greene Acres
Nursing Home. She was born July 29, 1918 at Calico Rock, Arkansas.
Raised at Rector, she was a graduate of Rector High School. She was a bank cashier for
over 30 years at the Bank of Rector and Security Bank at Marmaduke. Mrs. Beaton served as
Deputy Tax Collector of Clay County for her husband until moving to Conway and retiring
with the University of Central Arkansas. She was a talented and recognied artist in oil
and watercolor and sewed and knitted beautiful garments for her family and friends. She
was a member of Paragould's First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-three years, Robert Leon Beaton; tow sons, Paul
Beaton of Cordova, Tennessee, Dr. Robert Leon Beaton, Jr. of Summerfield, North Carolina;
three daughters, Ann Stallcup of Rector, Kay McCord of Pocahontas, and Tammy Thompson of
little Rock. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thadius Claude Justus and Kate Justus; a
step-mother, Wilene Brawley Justus; a son, Major Kenneth Beaton; and by one brother, Edwin
Justus.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, at the First United Methodist Church of
Rector with the Reverends Larry Martineau and Paul Dubar officiating. Burial will follow
at Linwood Cemetery, Paragould.

24, 2005, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
Born Aug. 3, 1935, in Marmaduke, Mr. Smith was an Army veteran and a retired security
guard.
Survivors include three brothers, Leon Smith of Marmaduke, Dewayne Smith of Paragould,
Kevin Smtih of Indianapolis; five sisters, Joy Ressler of Carmel, Indiana, Judy Dennis of
Jonesboro, Indiana, Shela Weesner of Cicero, Indiana, Wanda Thompson of Somerset,
Kentucky, and Melonie Smelser of Lafe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ettar Smith; and two brothers, Wesley
Smith and Odell Smith.

Pat Talmadge Watson
Pat Talmadge Watson, 75, formerly of Paragould, died Thursday, August 25, 2005, at Jackson
- Madison County General Hospital, Jackson Tennessee.
An army veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Watson was born Sept. 19, 1929, in Lepanto. He was
a reitred construction worker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Craig Watson of Searcy, one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and
Bill Farley of Steele, Missouri; two granddaughters, Rachel Cooper, and Chelsea Watson;
and three grandsons, Luke Cooper, Chandler Watson and Samuel Watson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.T. and Flora Watson; one brother, John L.
Watson; and by two sisters, Pauline Peeper and Helen Henderson.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Liberty Cemetery with Tim Howard

Delores Beatrice Russom of Warrenton, Mo., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005 at the
Warrenton Manor in Warrenton, Mo., at the age of 70 years and 8 months.
Delores was born to Charles Henry and Lillian Olean (Irby) Tracy on Dec. 27, 1934 in
Winner, Ark.
Delores worked as a Stitch Cementer for the Beacon Shoe Factory in Jonesburg, Mo., for
over 10 years. She later worked at the Charleswood Coporation in Wright City Mo., for 10
years.
She was united in marriage to Albert Dee Russom on Sept. 26, 1953 in Paragould. To this
union were born two children, George and Glenda Sue. Albert preceded her in death on Dec.
2, 1997.
Survivors include, one son, George Russom and wife, Kim of Warrenton, Mo., one brother
Charles H. "Junior" Tracy and wife, Joyce, of Warrenton, Mo., two sisters,
Barbara Allen Butler and Linda Mae Brown, both of Warrenton, Mo., two grandchildren, Cindy
Poindexter and Anthony Poindexter, two great-grandsons, Caleb Bradley and Marcus
Poindexter, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law,
and other relatives and many, many friends.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert, one dauther in infancy,
Glenda Sue, one brother, Jim Tracy, and two sisters, Edith Butler and Joan Marie in

Paul Lincoln Keen
Paul Lincoln Keen, 83, of Paragould, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005 at his residence.
He was born June 20, 1922, in Senath, Missouri. He was of the Methodist faith having
joined Griffin Memorial Methodist Church in 1955.
Mr. Keen was a volunteer Army veteran who served as a member of the First Expeditionary
Force to leave the United States in World War II. After returning from military service,
he met and married Hildred Oleta Brummett of Paragould.
Mr. Keen is survived by his wife, Hildred Oleta Keen; a son, Tim Keen of St. Louis, Mo.;
three half-sisters; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Keen will be cremated with no funeral services planned. The family requests that

Carol Darlene Moore, 44, of Mountain View died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005 at St. Bernard's

She was born at Oklahoma City, was a member of Beech Grove Church of the Nazarene and was

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Moore of the home; two sons, Johnny Lee Moore and

Batesville; a stepson, Jeffery Moore of Oklahoma City; her father, Franklin Reeds of

Marcella June Camp
Marcella June Camp, 83, of Paragould, passed from this life to her eternal home in heaven
on August 31, 2005, at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, Paragould.
She was born June 15, 1922 in Batesville, Arkansas to Harmon Franklin and Hester Roena
(Bales) Maag. She moved with her parents to Paragould, where she lived all her life, with
the exception of 20 years when she lived in West Helena, Arkansas. Mrs. Camp was a
homemaker, beloved wife and mother. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church in
Paragould.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Benjamin Camp; a son, Roger Lynn Camp; her
parents; two borthers, Theodore "Buddy" Maag and Charles "Charlie"
Maag; and infant sister, JoAnn Maag; and by a great grandson, Josiah Fowler.
Survivores include two sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Kathy Camp of Paragould, Kevin
and Alice Camp of Cabot; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Jim Fowler and Judy and
Hugh Owen, all of Paragould. She is also survived by a brother, Gale Maag of Paragould;

James L. Farley, 78, of Paragould died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005 at Arkansas Methodist
Medical Center.
Born August 20, 1927 in Beech Grove, he was a machine operator at Dr Pepper Bottling Co.
for 40 years. He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Farley, of the home; three sons, Gary Farley of
Mansfield, Ohio, Terry Farley and Keith Farley, both of Paragould; two daughters, Sue
Friar of Paragould and Beth Ward of Powhatan; eight grandchildren; and 10
great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Tom Rice of Paragould; one sister, Louise Smith
of Walnut Ridge; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.J. Gates and Alice Compton Gates.

David Michael "Mike" Baldridge
Funeral services for Mr. David Michael "Mike" Baldridge, 57, of Saint Joseph, LA
are under the direction of Young's Funeral Home Friday.
Mr. Baldridge was born January 7, 1948 in Paragould, Ark. He died Sunday August 28, 2005
at Lake St. John. He was a resident of Saint Joseph, La. Mr. Baldridge was an avid
outdoorsman and was a member of Ducks Unlimited.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Virginia Baldridge.
Survivors include, one brother, Jerry L. Baldridge, Sr. of Vicksburg, MS., nephews, Jerry
L. Baldridge, Jr. of Stuttgart, Arkansas and Terry R. Baldridge of Vicksburg, MS. Great
