Hettie Swindle Rogers
A Clarksdale, Miss. woman, Hettie Swindle
Rogers died Monday, April 3, 1978 at Tallahatchie General Hospital in
Charleston, Miss. at age 73.
Born in Paragould, Rogers was a retired
sales clerk. She was a Baptist and a member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Gleen Rogers
of Overland Park, KS, a daughter, Geneva Taylor of Charleston, two
brothers Tyler Swindle of Jonesboro and Ira Swindle of Paragould. Two
sisters, Onie Williams of Paragould and Margurite
Simpson of Mayflower and four grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10:00AM Wednesday at the
McDeal Chapel in Clarksdale with Rev. Louis Barmer and Rev. Don O'Quion
officiating.
Graveside services will be 4:OOPM Wednesday
at Browns Chapel Cemetery. Mitchell
Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
