Dorr Bufford and daughter, Peggy Mrlow, and Dockie and Dolph Bufford of this city were visitors in Batesville over the week-end. __________ Miss Katherine Cobins of Lake City, route three, who has been receiving medical treatment at the Dickson Memorial hospital, ws dismissed from the hospital yesterday. Her condition is reported to be improved. __________ Mr and Mrs. W. G. Nutt of West Kingshighway had as their guests Friday and Saturday Mrs. Nutt's brother-in-law, Ray Bowlin, Mrs. Bowlin and daughter, Alta, of Pocahonta, their son, Paul Bowlin, student at Quachita College in Arkadelphia, and Miss Rosemary Rose, also of Arkadelphia. J. R. Hollis of West Park street returned to his home last evening from Texarakana where he has been with Mrs. Hollis who underwent an operation Friday at the Cotton Belt hospital. Mr. Hollis will return to Texarakana Tuesday. Mrs. Hollis' condition was reported satisfactory. __________ Dr. and Mrs. F. A. Poe of West Main street had as their guests yesterday Dr. and Mrs. C. A. Poe and Dr. Harold Poe of St. Louis. Howard Poe of Maiden, Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Poe of Bloomfield, Mo., Dr. and Mrs. S. S. Davis and family of Dexter, and Mrs. Clyde Parminter and Mrs. Eugene Harris of Kennett. Dr. and Mrs. C. A. En route to their home last evening they attended the annual Christmas parade in Memphis.
