Convicted on poison charge
Louis Cline Charged With Intent To Kill, Given Three Years Paragould, Dec. 13--After deliberating nearly two hours, a Circuit Court jury this afternoon returned a verdict of guilty in the trial of Louis Cline, farmer, living six miles west of here, charged with assault with intent to kill. It was charged that he put poison in a cup of coffee his wife, Mrs. Claudie Cline the morning of September 11. Punishment was fixed at three years in the penitentiary.
