CLASSIFIED AD

CASH ONLY--ONE CENT PER WORD
NOT TAKEN OVER THE TELEPHONE

Classified ads are not accepted over the telephone for the reason that a cash
price for them has been made which is so low that no books are kept on them
and no bills are made or sent out. Exceptions cannot be made, since all
patrons must be treated alike. If you cannot bring or send your ad to the
Democrat office, telephone some acquaintance downtown to bring it in
for you, or mail it with check to cover, counting one cent a word each day,
25 cents being the minimum. The Democrat will not be responsible for
more than one incorrect insertion. Count 8 words twice 25c, ten words
3 days 30c, etc.
