Thomas Nathan Coln Running For Chief of Police

Nath Coln is a life-long resident of Greene County.  He spent his early years in a farming community northwest of Marmaduke.  He attended Greene County schools and was first connected with law enforcement work as Deputy
Sheriff in 1921.

Since that time, he has held the office of City Marshall of Marmaduke, ChiefDeputy Sheriff, and, in 1942, he joined the Paragould City Police Force.  In less than one year, he rose to the post of Chief of Police, a position that he held through 1949, at which time he was appointed Chief Deputy Sheriff, a position that he still holds.

Nath  Coln has never sought an elective office.  His past experience and interest has all been in law enforment work.  In making this announcement for the office of County Sheriff, Nath Coln offers his experience and past record to the people of Greene County for their decision.
