I am sure most of you in Greene County have heard your grandparents talk about this nightmare

that changed their lives as much as the floods, wars and other disasters. I thought it would be a good idea

to provide dates and information of these disasters. It might explain some of the reasons they moved or tried to get away from what they could not explain.
