Maybe you can help solve the mystery of this
picture. Writing on
the back says it is The Johnson Family. The only known
person is Benjamin
Austin Johnson, the man on the extreme left. The rest are
unknown, although
they apparently are members of his family. The photo looks
like it was
taken around the turn of the century. The picture was
probably taken out
around Sugar Creek in the old Commissary community since that is
where B.A.
Johnson owned a farm and lived. B.A. Johnson was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Confederate Cavalry who received a confederate pension from the state of Arkansas in 1916 shortly before he died. He was my great great grandfather. His daughter, Barbara Ettabell Johnson, married Eldo R.C. Biggs. Donated by : Bob Biggs
