At enlistment he gave residence as 507 McClure Street, Jonesboro ,Ark.and the name and address of person to be notified in his behlf in case of emergency as Mrs. Ella Armstrong (mother) , 507 McClure Street , Jonesboro , Ark. Description (at date of enlistment) White ; born in Independence , Mo; age 23 3/4 years ;occupation , coal miner , eyes blue , light brown hair , complexion , medium fair , height 6 feet , weight 158 , Prominent scars and marks ; Front view scar on left thumb, right ring finger , and lower left thigh, two scars on each knee and left middle finger, back view - scar on right side of head , upper left forearm , left little finger , and left knee. A Reward of $ 50.00 is payable for the apprehension of this man and for his delivery to the military authorities , until two years after the expiration of the period for which he was enlisted . |
