To whom it may concern, I am writing to give a little information on a cemetery that appears to have no caretaker.
My name is Steve Athey, and I am the grandson of Billiejean Athey (Maiden name Knight).  My grandmother, was born on the farm that once stood on the land of the Knight Cemetery, in Light, Arkansas.  My Grandmothers mother and father had told her that the cemetery was an Indian burial ground, and that it would be disrespectful to play on those grounds.  However,  her grandfather, Papa Buck,
would sometimes plow to close to the burial grounds and would unearth Indian artifacts.  My grandmother remembers finding those artifacts and playing with them as a kid.  The cemetery is named only from the farmland that was nearby, and does not include any Knight family.  However, it is also not a slave grave yard as indicated on a website I found prior to yours.
If you would like any more information, please feel free to contact me. Steven R. Athey
