Grandmother Adcock's Family

Hi Don,  The first photo is Laura Louisa Pace Phillips and her 12 children (Lewis is deceased at this time)

Not in order:

Nancy E., Nellie, Mary Ellen, Jo Ann, William David, Noah

Benjamin, Ruth E., Job Littleton, Truman Judson, Beaulah 

Berthel, Iva Leona and Jesse Sherman. The second picture 

is Mary Ellen Phillips Adcock, daughter of Lewis and Laura 

Phillips, and her firstborn son, Paul, who died shortly after 

birth. 

He is deceased in this photo. (1918) The third picture is of 

James Alford Adcock, born 1837, son of Wiley Adcock, 

born 1794 and died 1865 in Franklin Co,AR. The last 

picture is my grandparents, Stephen Alfred and Mary Ellen 

Phillips Adcock, and their children (l to r) Hubert Sherman, 

Nina Elberta, and Gladys Marie (who died at age 7) 

Stephen was born on Jan 10,1879 and died Mar 8,1940 in 

Pike Co, Ar. Mary Ellen was born Dec 6, 1880 in Heber 

Springs, AR and died May 28,1963 in Nashville, AR. They 

are both buried at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery just outside 

Murfreesboro, Pike Co, Ar. Thanks! Vicki

James Alford Adcock first married Mary Ann Bunn, whose 2 sons married the Blanscet daughters. ( Blanscet Photos on your site )
