This is not a Franklin
County stone. It is a stone photographed in Scotland. It is an 18th
century burial stone in good shape for a man named Steven
Rutledge.
My ggfather's name was Stephen Rutledge.
Yet
the connection between this stone and the Rutledge family today, is
same coat of arms on this stone is displayed on websites
for Rutledge or Routledge families in three countries. Does anyone
have the skill set to enhance this photo and read the
inscription? |
