Jack W. Shaw, 66, of Conway, died Wednesday (January 1, 1986) at University Hospital in Little Rock.
Born January 13, 1919, at Saltillo, he was a son of John William and Carrie Mae Womack Shaw. He was a retired laborer from Ward Bus Co. (now American Transportation Corp.) and a member of Libery Assembly of God Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Virginia Mae Tidwell Shaw; two sons, Jack Andrew and John Wayne Shaw, both of Conway; seven daughters, Mrs. Virginia Ann McKaskle of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Donna Gail Licon of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Mrs. Erma Dianne Hensley, Mrs. Frances Carol Cook, Mrs. Carrie Lea Heflin and Misses Sarah Elizabeth Shaw and Rhonda Dale Shaw, all of Conway; a brother, Vince Andrew Shaw of Quitman; five sisters, Mrs. Erma Fiddler, Mrs. Bobby Lucas, Mrs. Ruby Parks and Mrs. Fannie Osborne, all of Conway, and Mrs. Peggy Moore of Mulberry (Crawford County), and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services were today at Liberty Assembly of God Church with the Rev. James Martin officiating. Burial was in New Liberty Cemetery by McNutt Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Vernon Fulmer, Virgil White, George Robinette, Farrel Estep, Winford Fowler, and J.D. Owens.
