R.B. SHAW DIES AT MARIANNA

Robert Byron Shaw of Marianna died Saturday (May 11, 1968) at Marianna. He was director of the Marianna Housing Authority and former operator of Shaw Cotton Co.

Mr. Shaw was a brother of George G. Shaw of Conway, who died February 5.

A native of Conway, he was a son of Robert B. and Virginia Pitts Shaw. He attended Conway schools and was a veteran of World War I.

He went to Marianna following the war and entered the cotton business. He married the former Lillian Underwood of Helena, who survives.

Mr. Shaw was a former commander of the Marianna Rotary Club and a member of the Marianna First Methodist Church.

Also surviving is a sister, Miss Evie Shaw of Conway.

Funeral was Sunday at the First Methodist Church in Marianna. Burial was in Marianna Memorial Park.
