LAST WILL & TESTAMENT~ Sarah J. Harris~

This is a transcription of Sarah J. HARRIS' will from the Drew County
Courthouse in Monticello, Arkansas. Her will is dated 28 Dec 1904,
Drew County, Arkansas, and it was found in Will Book No. 2,
1884-1918, pgs. 160-161. The following is the last will and
testament of Mrs. Sarah J. HARRIS.

Last Will and Testament of Mrs. Sarah J. Harris

State of Arkansas County of Drew

Know all men by these present that I, Sarah J. Harris of the County and
State aforesaid, being in feeble health but of sound and
disposing mind and memory, do hereby declare and publish this as and
for my last will and testament.

I. I desire and request that my funeral expenses and all my just debts
shall first be paid out of my estate.

II. I devise and bequeath the remainder of my estate both real and
personal to my beloved children, Nancy L. Cotham, Mollie Nunn,
Calvin T. Harris and Alice Spencer, share and share alike.

I make no bequest to the children of my beloved son, A. E. Harris, now
deceased, not because I love them any less than my other
grandchildren, but because I think that ample provision has already
been made for them through their father's will, and they have no
need for the small amount that I would be able to give them.

I constitute and appoint my son, Calvin T. Harris, executor of this my
last will and testament and ask that he be allowed to administer my
estate without being required to give bond.

Given under my hand and seal this 28th day of December 1904. Sarah J. Harris

Signed and sealed by the testator in our presence, and we at her request
in her presence and in the presence of each other hereby
subscribe our names as attesting witnesses to the foregoing will
which Mrs. Sarah J. Harris, the testator declares to us to be her
last will and testament. Done day and date above written.
