Drew County Advance July 29, 1915:
Two or three weeks ago, Mr. Stan C. Harley, of
Arkadelphia, an old Confederate Soldier, furnished the
Monticellonian a partial list of names of the members
of Capt. Stiles A. Ragland's old Compnay, which served
in the civil war from Drew County; and, now come Mr.
W.H. Lyle, another old Confederate Veteran from Relf's
Bluff, Lincoln county, with a corrected list of Capt.
Ragland's Company, and added information.
These letters and soldier lists from these old
veterans are well worth preserving; and we publish
them, with the hope that not only the few old Soldiers
now on this side of the great divide will appreciate
them, but, also, their children and their children's
children.
Her follows Mr. Lyle's contribution to this history:
"Relf's Bluff, Ark., July 22, 1915, Editor of
Monticellonian, Monticello, Ark.
I see in your valuable paper of July 15th, 1915, a
list of names given by Mr. Stan C. Harley, of
Arkadelphia, Arkansas, relating to Co. B. 2nd Arkansas

only partly correct.
