Eva Inez Spears, 89, of Fordyce died Friday, March 20, 2009 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado. She was born July 16, 1919 in Cleveland County. She was a homemaker and attended Smith Chapel Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert Trantham and Jennie Ozment Trantham and husband, Walter C. Spears. She is survived by son, Walter E. Spears of Fordyce; brother, James Trantham of Ocala FL; sister, Mary Whitten of Star City; three grandchildren, Edward R. Spears and Sherry Beth Saeler both of Fordyce, Steve Buckley of Phoenix, AZ; one great-grandchild, Ryan Saeler of Los Angeles, CA. Visitation will be Sunday 6pm until 8pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Mathews officiating.
