Frances Carolyn Poole Burks

1943 - 2005
Frances Carolyn Poole Burks, 62, of Fordyce died Thursday September 22, 2005 at her home. Born January 18, 1943 in Fordyce, she was a daughter of the late March Edward Poole and Mildred Frances Crowder Poole. She is survived by her husband, Hershel Burks of Fordyce; one son, Hunter Petray of Bentonville; one daughter, Kim Petray Stanton of Smackover; two brothers, Jimmy Poole of Ft. Worth, Texas and Bob Poole of Houston, Texas; one sister, Susie Rogers of Granbury, Texas; three grandchildren, Sawyer, Spencer and Autumn. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday September 26, 2005 at Beech Grove Baptist Church in Fordyce with Rev. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 26, in the Beech Grove Baptist Church at Fordyce with Rev. Roger Copeland officiating. Burial was in Bryant Cemetery by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
