Earl Williams
FORDYCE -- Earl Williams, 74, of Fordyce, formerly of Sparkman, died Dec. 28,
2004, in Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock. He was born Dec. 3, 1930,
in Vaden, son of the late Dorsey and Eliza Vaden Williams. He was a sawmill
employee and an elder and member of New Faithway Church of God in Christ in
Bearden.
Survivors include: His wife, Shirley Williams; three sons, Junius Williams
of Arkadelphia, Dr. J. Dawson of Jacksonville and Terry Williams of Alexander;
three daughters, Eliza Smith of El Dorado, Mae Jones of Kansas City, Mo., and
Vanessa Delamar of Arkadelphia; stepchildren, Grady Kelley of Demopolis, Ala.,
Benjamin Daniel of Mobile, Ala., Thomas Daniel of Portland, Ore., Essie Pigg
and Mary Johnson of Stockton, Calif., and Tonya Juniel and Channon Thompson
of Fordyce; a brother, Kerr Williams of Oakland, Calif.; and 32 grandchildren
and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in F.O. Jones Auditorium at Bearden
with Bishop D.L. Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in Sparkman
Cemetery at Sparkman under the direction of Marks Funeral Home
of Fordyce.
