Lillie Mae WINFORD was the wife of William Franklin WIGGINS and the mother of my father Jim WIGGINS they lived in Dora township and Jasper township, in Crawford County |
William Franklin WIGGINS may have been born in Monett, MO, he was the foster child of the WIGGINS family. Mysteries are hard to trace since the 1890 census is not available. He thought his birth name was WRIGHT. I found a William F. WRIGHT, son of Serilda WRIGHT a widow, in the 1880 census the age seemed to be correct. My grandfather did not know his true date of birth so he chose his daughter Gladys' birthday and guessed the year. 1877 |
