Hicks family, ca. 1926.

"I had to get my Dad in on this one!!  Best we can figure the picture was taken ca. 1926 or there abouts.  The people in the picture are: (L to R standing) Jeffrey, Shearl, Earl and Frankie.  Uriah and Minnie sitting.  Elbie is standing in front of Uriah and Minnie is holding Marvin.  My Dad wasn't born yet, he is the youngest.  When I sent the picture I said they had lost their first born Elbie but it was Jesse.  He was the first born.  He and Bertie died before this picture was taken and Elbie died in 1931.  There were only 6 that lived to adulthood out of 9 plus a miscarriage!!  Women were tough back then!!"
