They wanted to
see how many couples they could get back to Piggott for a reception of the Post
War years marriages performed here. They decided to transcribe the 1950
marriages which covered the largest count of 5574 licenses sold during the year.
This transcription includes the entire year of 1950: Book 49-Page 293
through Book 58-Page 44.

NOTE: There were a few old marriage licenses that are located at the County Court Houses in Corning and in Piggott. These were brought to the Court Houses for recording and for some reason never returned to the couple. If such a license exists, it will be noted next to the names in this database. To get photo copies of these, you must contact the County Court House in Corning.
