"The inside of the Ben Franklin store taken in the early 1940s.  This is when the store was located at 2nd St. and Hop Alley.  I'm not positive, but from a Sanborn map, it looks like the address was 424 W. 2nd St.  It was located on the north side of Hop Alley.  This store was owned by my grandfather, Allen Leonard Drilling, and he is standing behind the counter in the picture."
