John Lingle was born Oct.28, 1880 in Pollard, Clay County.  He married Bula, born Oct.2, 1882 in Milan, Gibson Co., TN, on Nov.5, 1905.  Bula died on Feb.9, 1924 and is buried at New Hope Cemetery, Pollard, Clay County.  John died Feb.12, 1965 at Piggott hospital, Clay County, Arkansas.  He is buried in New Hope Cemetery, Pollard, Clay County.

John Henry Lingle married Ethel Holifield (born Jan. 8,1907 Pollard, Clay County) on April 3, 1925 in Pollard.  Ethel died Feb. 2, 1938 in Pollard.  She is buried at Cummings Chapel Cemetery in Pollard.  John died Feb.12,1965 at Piggott Hospital.  He is buried at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard.

John Henry Lingle and Virgie (Pollard) Nettles.  Picture was taken out in the yard at the old Lingle homestead near Pollard.  Virgie's husband was Henry Clay Nettle which had a son named Guy Marvin.  He married the step-daughter of John Lingle.  Her name was Evie.  Her and Guy were my favorite Aunt and Uncle.
