The Benjamin House Family

Benjamin House was born in SC, the son of Henry House. He was married first to an unknown woman and had 10 children. He then married Nancy Humphrey in Carroll Co, TN, and had 8 more children. He and his family moved to Clark Co, AR, about 1854. This picture was taken ca 1868.

Other Clark County surnames associated with the Benjamin House family include: Cagle, Cook, Brown, Stone, and Holder. Benjamin's brother John House was associated with the Golden family. Benjamin and Nancy are probably buried in the Golden Cemetery in Clark County, AR.
