Will of Isah Grubb SlaterKnow all men by these present that I Isah Grubb Slater of the County of Bradley and State of Arkansas being of sound and disfinning mind and memory desire to make this as my Last will and Testament in Regard to this worldy Goods and property with which God has been pleased to bless me. To wit in Case of my deseas I will that My Beloved Wife Mary H. Slater become possesed of all my property of whatever kind Real personal or other wise to tke the same immediately in to her posession and charge and for and during the period of her natural life to exercise all the Rights of ownership thereover as I could do if Living and acting myself from and during the period of her natural Life as aforesaid to Raise and to Educate our children namely Mary Elizabeth, Hannah Susanah, Zuyawis Louis, William Nicholas Walter Ellen Mariah, Isah Gnubb, Alexander Hewslesy, Axeth Woward, and an orphan child James Winfield Slater, a nephew of mine. I will her to Rear and Educate and in every Respect in Law and otherwise to have an to share as one of my own children, and further at the time of her demsise or at any time prior thereto to disease of by will or other wise whatever she may as might at such time be seized and posesed so Dirtive of this my will or otherwise. Done on this the ninetheenth day of October in the yer of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and sixty four. I. Bond clerk of the County, County Ex officio, clerk of the Probate Court in and for the aforesaid County and State Thomas Temple who being duily Sworn says that he was present and saw Isiah Grubb Slayter signhis name to the annexed and foresaid will and by his request and in the presence of R.
