Mrs. Ruby Carraway

Ruby Lee Carraway, age 92, of 940 N. Martin Street, Warren, Arkansas, died Friday, December 10, 1993, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.

Born November 1, 1901, in Bradley County, she was a daughter of the late Theo and Zannie Bradley Rodgers. She was a retired restaurant and poultry processing plant operater, a member of Emmaus Baptist Church, and the widow of Ellis Verna Carraway who died February 25, 1970. They were united in marriage January 8, 1922.

Survivors are 1 son, Julian Meek Carraway of Warren; 1 brother, Hamp Rodgers of Mansfield, Ohio; 1 sister, Mary Sue Weimer of Loudenville, Ohio; and 1 grandson, Pat Carraway.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 12, at 3:30 p.m. at Frazer's Funeral Home in Warren with Rev. joe McClellen and Rev. Vernon Colvin officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were Harold Raymer, Buster Miller, Burgess Williams, John Moseley, Barry Weimer, and Curtis Harton.

Honorary pallbearers were Harry Carraway and Juan Vargus.
