PARNELL, Patsy Patsy Ruth Parnell, age 62, of Warren, died Thrusday, May 17, 2001, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born August 26, 1938, in Warren, she was a retired teachers aid for the Hermitage Public School System and a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Bobby Gene Parnell, whom she married May 30, 1969; 3 sons; Bobby Grice, Andy Grice and Jimmy Grice, all of Artesia, New Mexico; 1 stepson, Bobby Gene Parnell, Jr., of Laurel, Mississippi; 2 stepdaughters, Sandra Jean Scoggins of Monticello and Chryle Sue Crochet of Morgan City, Louisiana; her mother, Hazel Christian Mitchell of Warren; one brother, Charles P. Mitchell of Pine Bluff; one sister, Mary Hamilton of Warren; 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Mitchell. Graveside services were Sunday, May 20, 2001, at Crossroads Cemetery near Warren with Rev. Terrell Wallace officiating. Active pallbearers were Scott Harton, William Harton, Bobby Harton, Keith Neely, Marty Howard and Kevin Parnell. Honorary pallbearerrs were Dr. James Marsh, Jackie Scroggins and Ronald Neely.
