Mrs. Jewel Halligan HudsonMrs. Jewel Hudson Jewel Halligan Hudson, age 80, of Warren died Saturday (August 13, 1994) at the Bradley County Memorial Hospital in Warren. Born June 20, 1914, in Warren, she was a daughter of the late Britt H. and Sarah Estelle MecKeown Halligan. She was a housewife, member of Macedonia Baptist Curch, and the widow of Wallace Woodrow Hudson who died July 1, 1988. Survivors are 2 daughters, Sandra Miller of Monticello and LaDell Vines of Monticello; 2 brothers, Roy Britt Halligan and Louis Halligan of Warren; 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 16, at 2 p.m. at Frazer’s Funeral Home with Rev. David Gentry officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and Jonalyn Reep, soloist. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were R. L. Miller, Gary Miller, Macky Meeks, Frank Chancellor, Gary Reep, Bobby Louis Halligan, Floyd Myers, and Charles Allen.
