Mrs. W. H. (Mollie Trammel) JeffersMrs. Mollie Trammel Jeffers aged 72, died last Tuesday morning April 16, at her home in Warren at 12:00 o'clock. She was born September 23, 1862 in Cleveland County. On February 13, 1879, she was married to W. H. Jeffers in Cleveland County. Mr. Jeffers died July 3, 1926. Eight children were born to this union. Six survive her. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Mrs. Jeffers is survived by three sons, B. H. Jeffers, David P. Jeffers and Pete Jeffers, all of Warren; three daughters, Mrs. Jim Givens of Blackston, Arkansas, Mrs. G. A. Taylor and Mrs. Gus Anderson of Warren; 26 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Trammel of Strong and David Trammel of Hermitage, and two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Sanders of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. John R. Robbins of Warren. Funeral services were conducted last Wednesday evening at 1:00 at Singer Cemetery by the Rev. L. B. Moseley and Charles Carter. Interment was in Singer Cemetery near Hermitage. Pallbearers were Frank Hollingsworth, Willie Meek, Jim Hayes, Ed Brown and Newton Meek. Ladies in charge of flowers were Mrs. Lee Temple, Mrs. Clarence Doss and Mrs. Singer. |
