Green ObituariesJOHNNIE MAE GREEN (1937-2001) Johnnie Mae Green, age 63 died February 9, 2001, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born May 20, 1937, the daughter of Annie Lee Hampton and the late John Henry Hampton. She was married to the late Frank Green. Survivors include her mother, Annie Lee Hampton of Warren; 5 children, Darryl (Debra) of Warren; Fernando (Linda) and Andre (Felicia) of Chicago, IL., Frederick (Susan) and Nicole (Kenneth) of Warren; 8 brothers, Otis of Chicago, IL., Jerald and J. B. of St. Louis, MO., Bobby, Johnny Ray, Eddie and Freddie of Warren, and Henry Hampton, who preceded her in death; 5 sisters, Sadie, Ruthie, Julia and Mary of Warren, and Vera Barrow of Chicago, IL; one grandson, Michael Green; four grand-daughters, Fershawnda, Nadine, Tiara and AnNa of Chicago, IL; one grandson, Andre Green preceded her in death; nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 17, at West Central Church of Christ with Robert Waller officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home.
LEOLA WILLIAMS GREEN (1924-1999) Leola Williams Green, age 74, died January 18, 1999, in the Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Pine Bluff. She was born March 30, 1924, the daughter of Fudge Williams and Grodie Thompson of Moro Bay. She was a housewife and a member of Living Testament Church of God in Christ. Survivors include one daughter, Ocie Santos of Warren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 23, at 11:00 a.m. at Living Testament Church of God in Christ. Elder Phillips officiated. Burial was in Moro Bay Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home.
LILLIE GREEN (1942-2001) Lillie Faye Moore Green, age 58, of Warren, died Tuesday, November 6, 2001, at the Bradley County Medical Center. She was born December 11, 1942 in Hope, the daughter of the late Julious Moore and Sefronnie Moore Leaks. She was a homemaker after working at Sykes Flooring, Jack Winter, Pine Lodge Nursing Home, Bradley County Medical Center, and Dr. Pennington's office. She is survived by her mother, her husband, Roosevelt; 2 daughters, and 2 sons, Carnell Elaine Lindsey of Little Rock, Penny Diane Clardy (Terry) of Forrest City, AR, Bruce Lavell Green (Anna) of Dermott and Bryant Lavell Green of Pine Bluff; 18 brothers, 8 sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Floyd Leaks, her adopted mother, Eva D. Banks, a brother, Lee Herman Leeks, a sister, Janice Faye Moore, and 2 grandchildren, Kennith Carness Lindsey and Diamond Sonell Green. Funeral services were Saturday, November 10, 2001, at St. James A.M.E. Church with Rev. Jesse Washington officiating. Burial was in Segrest Cemetery in Pansy by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
