Gilbert Hall Weir, age 82, of Route 3, Box 149, Warren, died Friday, May 31 (1991) at the Bradley County Memorial Hospital in Warren.
Born November 17, 1908 in Bradley County, he was a son of the late James S. and Allie Hall Weir. He was a retired cattle farmer, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors are his wife, Essie Mae Gibson Weir; 2 brothers, James Weir and Jack Weir, both of Dallas, Texas; 1 sister, Margaret Mosier of Austin, Texas.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Frazer's Funeral Home with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating.
Janice Sullivan was organist and Abbie Richardson was soloist.
Burial was in Adams-Singer Cemetery, by Frazer's Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Bill Hargis, Guy Shaha, Joe Bob Turner, Lawrence Berry, Paul Whitaker, Leroy Thornton, Leland Bryant and Cecil Carmical.
