DOROTHY TED DEARMAN PENROD WEAR - DIED AUGUST 16, 2006

Teddy was born on November 12, 1928 in Altus, Oklahoma to Guy and Minnie Dearman. They moved to Houston when she was 6 weeks old.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Troy [Singer Neely] Wear [of Bradley County, Arkansas]. She is survived by her son, Russell Penrod and wife Linda of Crosby; two grandchildren, Brandon Penrod of Crosby and Lindsey Rae Penrod of College Station; son Carl Wear and wife Carla of Baytown; sisters Marjorie Lee of Livingston, Jean Dearman of the Woodlands; brother Wayne Dearman and wife Dolores of Anahuac, Texas; niece Vickie Dearman; nephews Randy, Rusty Dearman, and Rodney Smith; and many other loving family members and friends.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crosby, Texas and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Ancillae Mariae #1886, P.O. Bix 1918, Crosby, Texas 77532.

Teddy's body grew too tired to continue the fight, but the spirit never wavered. Our prayers have been for our Teddy to go peacefully from the world to her Hevenly reward. God heard and answered our prayers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 18, 2006 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home.
