DICK NORMAN

Dick Norman, 37, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Norman, died in a local hospital Sunday morning at 5:15 after a long illness. Mr. Norman was born in Cleveland county May 4, 1902. For six years he had been service manager of Leigh Chevrolet Company. He was a member of the Presbyterian church.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, the former Miss Bessie Kate Marks; two sons, Gordon and Jimmy; a sister, Mrs. Ora Heinley; and a step-brother, Jasper Stewart, all of Warren.

Funeral services were conducted by Dr. Bruce C. Boney, pastor of First Presbyterian church, at 3:30 Monday afternoon at Frazer Funeral Home chapel. Interment was in Oakland cemetery.

Pall bearers were: active - Carroll Gamble, Turner King, Dick Akens, Jack Turner, Maudrell Ferguson and Ray Matthews; honorary - Dr. W. J. Hunt, Dr. J. L. Hope, L. E. Haynie, Meek Singer, Paul Finney, V. B. McCann, J. P. Lambert, James Taylor and L. H. Derby.

Ladies in charge of the flowers Mrs. L. E. Haynie, Mrs. W. J. Hunt, Mrs. Maudrell Ferguson, Mrs. Ray Matthews and Miss Mary Beard.
