WARREN -- Beulah Plair Sligh, 88, of Warren, died September 5, 2001, at Wagnon Place Nursing Home.

She was born July 18, 1913, in Bradley County, a daughter of the late Ora Floyd Plair and Lizzie Juanita Beard Plair.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She married Phinnis Weaver Sligh on December 15, 1930, at Arkansas City. He died June 25, 2001.

Survivors include one son, Freddie Charles Sligh of El Dorado; two daughters, Betty Lou Greenwood of Warren and Patricia Ann Powell of Madison, Alabama; one brother, James Arthur Plair of Warren; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
