Whiteside Celebrates 96th Birthday Nov. 1 Born in 1848, in 1944 she was "conceded to be the oldest white woman in Bradley County" and "the senior member of a family of five generations living in Bradley County." She did live to see this war end the following year. She died in 1947 at the age of 98.
